Would they ever make a cartoon version after the mini-series

Just like the title says, would they, I was just thinking if the mini-sereis does not go as well as every one hopes, and i know it's a big if, would they turn it into a cartoon or animated series that would appeal to a younger audience?

They've talked in the past about the possibility of doing an anime spin-off, but that would be aimed at an adult audience, just as the series itself is.

And spin-offs of any kind are only likely to happen if the miniseries is successful - not if it isn't.

Brian Henson said his plan was for feature films if the mini was successful.

Well, I know ADV did put a Farscape animated series in their queue of potential future projects at one point. Don't know if that's still true or not. Hard to say, since it seems like it takes forever for ADV to get moving on their original projects. (Lady Death is only just comming out, after years of development.)

Hey g_s I've just noticed something peculiar about your avatar. I always thought that avatar of yours looked kind of neat the way it changed from being that old fart in the balcony to being that tight old leathery fart in the balcony.

That avatar of yours has definitely got some kind of dark hypnotic effect over me. Now when I inhale I see that leathery mask and when I exhale I just see that ugly mug of yours. :rollin:

yeah...it'd kinda be hard to make it into a kids show. Scorpius, the scarrens, and a lot of the minor characters would be scary for kids. Lots of people die too...

Gonzo used to freak me out as a kid, I dont think a baby Scorpy would be too scarey. He'd look like a baby with a fetish. And...maybe instead of cooling rods he could use freeze-pops...or candy bars. :lol

An animated series could be good for years down the road if Farscape gets picked up. It would mean we could have the original characters/actors without worrying about them looking too old :)
