Into the Lion's Den at last

I'm not gonna lie. I stopped watching season three half way through because it was getting too dark and heavy form my tender emotional constitution. I started watching again near the beginning of fourth season and figured that I probobly didn't miss much, plus the show was fun again!

So recently Dave lent me the end of season three. With some trepidation, I watched it two days ago. OH MY FRELLING GODDESS!!! It blew me away. That command carrier - whoa. I had been spoiled about the Crais and Talyn thing but it was so much more poetic than I had thought. The image of Scorpius standing on the steps as the lake water flowed down was beautiful.

Yeah, those eps are outstanding. I felt the same way about season three. It is a bit dark but I ended up loving every minute of it!

Into the Lion's Den is one of the best 2 parters I've ever seen for a television show. They're just incredible episodes; they balance the right amount of suspense, action, and deceit. Then comes Dog With Two Bones...I want my season 4 box set now!

Deleted scene..Into The Lion's Den II

There were many deleted scenes from Into The Lion's Den.
The scene between Aeryn and Crais, when Crais apologizes for everything
he has done to her. I thought this was a particularly poignant scene.
It shows how far both of them have come and it is an important scene
in Crais's redemption.

I thought most of these deleted scenes were deleted for time. ( time, it's always about time!) I don't know why these scenes aren't added in in the DVD sets.
