Scapers - We are Awesome!

I just need to start this thread by saying I'm not as eliquent as many on this board - but want to make a comment, as at this very moment I am so filled with emotion - I want to let you all know how terribly proud I am of all of us and what we've accomplished and what we continue to do!

I read the threads with all the fantastic ideas to get new eyes to the show; and then I read where someplace someone else has reviewed the mini or mentioned on some show or something and it smacks me in the face that what we've been doing is really working! How often can the "little guy" say that!?!?!?

I have never been a part of such a group of people - have never campaigned for a show - never done a lot of things I have done for this show (my husband often shakes his head and rolls his eyes at my actions - but tolerates it all). Sometimes, I still can't believe all our hard work has actually made the mini happen and find I have to pinch myself and probably still won't believe it til 2 weeks from today...

Thank you to everyone - pardon the interruption and keep doing what we do best!

I agree. And today I had the chance to spread the word about the mini to the check-out clerk at the local Borders. He was interested in my copy of Dreamwatch that I just bought because it had an article about D'Argo. The clerk said that B5 was the best all time scifi show ever. I told him I would agree with him, except for Farscape. Said he'd never watched, but had heard of the show. I told him about the mini coming on October 17 and encouraged him to watch. He seemed interested so maybe we'll just have another pair of eyeballs watching. !! And yes, Scapers Rock!! I'm proud to be in the group.

I couldn't agree more. I was talking to one of my friends the other day about the mini and how I couldn't do something with her that weekend. "Oh you would rather watch Farscape," she said. "Of course," I replied. Later I was thinking of how to explain to her that this wasn't just a tv show. This is huge because we made this happen. Farscape wouldn't have come back if it wasn't for the fans, and that makes me feel incredibly proud of everyone. So no this isn't just another tv miniseries. This means a whole lot more because it shows the power of passionate fans and that anything is possible. Way to go everyone!!!
