The future of Farscape depends a lot on the mini. And we should all put our heads together to come up with ways to get the word out to everyone in the country, two weeks before the mini airs on SCI FI.

It's now two weeks before the mini airs on SCI FI. There are people here doing and planning a lot of great things, but there needs to be more. Really. Seriously. Not joking now. See what the big guy said? If you want more Farscape past this mini-series, if you want this to be a victory, instead of a last hurrah, you've got to get out doing things.

What can you do? Tons of stuff. Does it have to cost a lot of money? Nope, not at all.

Do you have a big piece of poster board and a marker?
An old sheet and some paint?
Do you have a printer? Or do you have access to one?
Do you have some tape? Staples, maybe?

Excellent. You're ready to get people to Farscape.

Print out flyers, hang them on telephone poles, construction walls, community message boards at grocery stores or coffee shops. Make big, huge signs out of neon poster board that just say "Farwhat.com" and put it up at a busy intersection. Or take that big, huge sign and walk back and forth over an overpass during rush hour, showing the sign to all the poor folks stuck in traffic.

It's easy, it's cheap, it's fun, it's stuff you can get your kids, your dog, your coworkers, and your friends to help you with. And these are great things you can do at any time over the next two weeks, especially next week!

Hmm... just to add, perhaps we should do another few e-mails thanking Sci-Fi Channel for allowing Farscape to finish it's story, and the Hensons for Farscape anyway.

Anyone know the sponsors of Farscape: PK Wars yet? That'd be something to look into after the airing.

Planning some Farscape parties for when it airs? Try to invite a few people you know would love Farscape but haven't had the chance to get into it as well, so we can Scape some more eyeballs.

Co-ordinated plans to Scape a fair bit of the net? Find a site or publication which talks about TV (Matt Roush has been a great help, but he doesn't have to be the only one). Write to them, talk about how great it is that Farscape is back for another shot and why people should watch it.

In a cubicle at work? Why not decorate it with random Farscape quote cuttings! Just remind yourself of some of your favourite quotes, print them out and stick them all over your cubicle (management permitting, of course). You could even stick them in other people's cubicle (and possibly risk injury, but hey! Just make sure the other guy's got a sense of humour, and that you can run faster than him).

PS - I know this should (and probably is) in campaign strategizing, but so many people just surf here nowadays instead of checking CS out. I'm guilty of it myself.
