I finally just finished watching the last episode of season two (Die Me, Dichotomy) and the first of season three (Season Of Death). I must say that I can't get over how well those two episodes were done. I know that they kind of bring Aeryn back quickly (and seemingly easily), but all of the emotion and spark between John and Aeryn is amazing.
I have already seen most of S3 and all of S4, but it's great to be able to go back now and see how their relationship had evolved into what it is by the end of the series. But those two episodes are what I was waiting for the entire time I have been watching the show, and I was definitely not dissapointed.
My favorite aspect of Farscape is the ever evolving relationship between John and Aeryn, but until now I had not seen these two, well, important and amazing episodes. Farscape is the best show ever.

I thought "Die me dichotomy" was excellent, Season of Death felt a bit awkward to me but was still good.
They're a couple of my faves in the series.

I also enjoy those episodes. I have seen them two or three times now.

They came on sci-fi the other day and, even though I had just watched both of them a few days earlier, I found myself glued to the tv watching them yet again. That two parter ranks in there with Inifinite Possibilities two parter, Kansas/Terra Firma two parter, A Human Reaction, and Bad Timing as the list of pretty much my favorite episodes.

I just got done with the season 2 finale and I want so badly to stab my brain... I've seen "The Peacekeeper Wars" and I know that things work out, but come on! I knew I should have expected the enormous cliffhangers, but geez. I think the show is frelling with my brain...
But I love every second of it...

That's exactly how I felt, except instead of having seen the mini, I had seen from the middle of season 3 through the end of the series. I knew the end before I saw the beginning. I still think Die Me Dichotomy and Season of Death are two of the best episodes in the entire series.
I think "Die Me, Dichotomy" was the best cliffhanger in the entire Farscape series. Its right up there with my two other favorite season cliffhangers (Best of Both Worlds from Star Trek: TNG and The Siege part two from Stargate: Atlantis).
"Season of Death" was ok, but I think Scorpius didn't really seem like that big of a threat for much of the episode. The only part that he did seem particularly nasty was when he had Grunchilik (sp?) bite off his own finger.

I must say, I didn't start watching the series until a couple of months ago and I love it. It is the most brilliantly acted and written sci-fi series I have ever seen.
My problem is that I got the last 2 disks for season 2 and disk with the 3 parter called Liars, Guns and Money is fried. I watched the finale thinking that 'not much could have happened'. But COME ON!!!! so I was wondering if anyone knew any torrents or could post them for those 3 episodes cause I NEED to see them.
Did you buy the disks or rent them? If you bought them, I'm sure you can get a new replacement disk for the bad one by contacting the seller, or contacting ADV. Are you near any other scapers who could loan you the disk? Or a library that has it? The trilogy is really good. Watch it high quality on DVD.
And you can read transcripts of those episodes here:

I watched the commentary for DMD the other day with Ben, Claud, and DK. It was quite excellent. I love Farscapes commentary tracks, and this one was no exception. I especially liked learning that the John/Aeryn/Crais (and Stark) thing was partially inspired by "A Tale of Two Cities". It's little tidbits like that that I love to learn.

I'll have to relisten to that commentary track.

That is pretty spectacular. I don't think I've ever seen a love story on TV that had the power that theirs does. But also, after having watched it all through PK Wars, I realized one of the other things I've loved about it is the evolving relationship of John and Scorpy. Scorpy makes the transition from scariest of evil bad guys to relentless nemesis to annoying pest to tentative ally to something approaching friendship. Quite remarkable.
