This was the last episode of Farscape I hadn't seen (I started watching the show with "Meltdown" and had to watch the end of season 3, season 4, and come all the way back around to "Relativity") and I think it is a really great episode, definitely in my top 10. Aeryn has come such a long way through the series, but I think that her emotional breakthroughs in this episode are great. From the start when she's in bed with Crichton, we can see how their relationship has progressed. And by the end, after her mother has been supposedly killed, the look on her face when she hears the pulse blasts is heart wrenching. Even the last few moments of the episode when it's just her and Crichton, Claudia's acting is superb... really brings Aeryn's feelings to life. Farscape is the best show ever.

It's a great episode alright.
Claudia's acting was one of the highlights of the 3rd season for me.
I agree, in my american language i think i should say - "She is like, Sooo totaly, like awsome dude"
Why did they kill her off in Pitch Black, if someone gave her a pulse rifle she would of kicked riddicks ass.

They killed her off because they were stupid. Also, Pitch Black came out in 1999 if I'm not mistaken, so it was before she had established herself as Aeryn Sun. I think she would have been the main female lead had they made that movie a few years after Farscape had been on.

Assuming you could have an intelligent female lead in a Vin Diesel popcorn movie :)

Hmm... that's a pretty good point, Vin Diesel doesn't exactly make great movies. I bet they could've made a similar movie, thrown out Vin Diesel all together, and made Claudia the lead. I thought Pitch Black was alright, but it definitely could've been better (especially if they didn't kill off Claudia so early!).
