UK Season 3 Boxset

Does anyone know when it's definitely coming out? Amazon have it for Monday 18th October, but HMV and Virgin have it for Monday 25th October.
So which is it? Is it even either of these dates? Thanks.

Okay, now they've all changed their release dates to November 1st. Is this boxset ever going to get released? It just seems that they keep pushing back the date, again and again. :(

Where did you order it from? Amazon, up until last night for me anyway, had the release date of 18th October, but everywhere else I looked had 25th October.
But on checking today, all of them, including Amazon have 1st November as the date now.

I ordered them from Amazon.co.uk on Monday because they said it was going to be the 18th. I had originally pre-ordered at Play.com but they postponed the date to 1st November. As I'm leaving from Burbank on the 6th Nov. I was hoping to get them before then. All I can do is wait now I guess :(

I'm just so frustrated- I want them now, dangit! (I know, I'm like a little kid! :D )
It just seems that this has been going on since August. Each time they give out a new date, I get myself all hyped up for getting them, and then the date's pushed back again at the last minute. I understand that it's probably something Contender can't help, but it's still annoying.

I've had the Season 3 DVD box set on pre-order for a while now. I got an e-mail from Amazon this morning saying that the release date is definitely 1st November. Unless they push it back again of course.

The real question is how long are we gonna have to wait for Season 4??

The company that makes the boxsets seems to be going down the tubes or something.

The website they had for info on these things (http://www.kult-tv.co.uk) is gone, now it just redirects to their "will & grace" section.

That used to happen to all my Contender DVDs as well, some of them would stop working after a while. Had to send back by 4.5 discs 4 times.

I'll hang fire till monday on the email to Lee then. If it's shipping on Monday and Amazon aren't you might want to email them because I've found in some cases they forget to update their databases when changes happen. I had this happen with one of the Farscape Season companions.

Today the status of my order on amazon has changed from "Not yet despatched" to "Items dispatching soon"

Delivery estimate is still: 4 Nov 2004 - 11 Nov 2004 though.

Wow. They really went to town with the menu screens. Most impressive, and definitely worth waiting for.

I got my copy yesterday too, I love the menues and everything but I just watched the episode "eat me" and was wondering if you guys also found that there is something weird going on with the sound there???

The music seems extremely loud to me, in fact so loud that sometimes I can't hear the talking properly. Anyone else notice that or am I immagining things? I've watched this ep before on tape and I don't remember noticing the sound being so loud?

What kind of speaker system do you have? That happens sometimes in the 5.1 -> Stereo downmix.

uhm, err, I'd have to check but it's not a fancy one. Still I've never noticed this problem before and I also watched it on my laptop and although it wasn't as bad it still seemed pretty loud.

Still I'm not totally sure it's an actual problem with the DVD, maybe they did have the music louder on that episode to create the creepy atmosphere. Just wondered if anyone else noticed something as I would only have tomorrow to send it back before I leave for California :D
