Search function is turned off

Hi folks, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but we're expecting high server loads on the site the next couple of days -- before, during and after the airing of the mini-series -- so we've taken some steps to turn off server intensive items to try to ease the load to make sure the site stays up.

This includes shutting off the search function for a few days. The "new posts" link is tied to the search function, so, yes, it will be down for a few days until visits level off.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience, but hopefully this well help us stay online. :D

Due to the search function being turned off, if anyone did not include a link to your nominations for the Frellys we will not be able to find them.
If you nominated and didn't provide a link and know where it is can you please PM BrowderChick with your links today.

People who have already contacted me since yesterday you do not have to send links to BC.

I spent 11 hours yesterday collating the nominations in the first 6 groups ... BC is working on the last 6 groups today. We hope to have voting up and running this coming week at the voting web site.

Thanks Red. I was actually expecting that to happen. I saw the members number getting higher and higher and the server slowing down. I never use the function all that much so it wont be a bother to me. :D
