I was wondering what was you guys take on ufo's and such is. Do you belive in them, don't believe, what? I pesraonlly think the universe is just to big for us to be alone.... and I belive life is out there (or perhaps I'm watching to much farscape)
Anways I did have a strange encounter with an odd light once..
Me and my mom where coming home from my grandmother's. Its already past dark and we live waaaaaaaaaay out in the boonies. (the woods). I just happen to be looking out the window and I notice this huge orange light to the right of us and in the distance. It's above the tree tops and resmebles a street light, but it's in area that there is no houses and besides, I never saw the light before. The odd thing was it was hardly moving and my mom saw the same light a week eariler, but in a diffrent part of town.

Never had any close encounters, but I do believe in the possibility of other life in the universe.
Or...maybe I've been watching too much Farscape.

Nope, no close encounters here, unless you count that Zoney (zebra/pony hybrid) tribsaint and I met on Monday.
I do believe there is more life out there...its awfully vain of us to think we're the only intelligent beings in the universe, IMO.

That's what the dude called it. It was cute. The size of a scilian donkey w/ big ears and stripes on its legs, belly, and neck. Honest! Ask tribsaint! She saw it, too!

Technically, a UFO is an unidentified flying object. So anything you can't identify that appears to be flying is a UFO. So yes, I believe in UFOs.
Do I believe in little green men from Mars? Not from Mars. I do believe there is other life in the universe, besides what is on our planet. Whether it looks like us, I don't know. I think it would be cool if there was, unless they wanted to destroy us.

My Junior high Biology teacher made me a beliver. 2/3 of the time she talked about biology, but 1/3 she talked about a whole mess of supernatural things. Like ghosts, UFO's, angels... She told us that she has a little girl as a guardian angel, and she has saved her many times... she even talked to her once.
I know she sounds like the every day nut case, but she was as sane as you and me... well.. as sane as you.
I was always a "I want to belive" kind of guy, but she made me convinced.
Plus my friends mom has seen a UFO, for real.
If you aren't a beliver, you should listen to a person who has seen a UFO and you'd be converted like that. (I snapped my fingers)

My grandpa swears that he & his boss saw a UFO once when he worked for the forest service in the late 60's. They didn't talk about it for years afterwards. However, both of their stories match and are in line with other reported sightings. And these guys are the least likely type to believe in "other life out there." My grandpa said it scared him to death. Their horses went nuts too. He had been in the military and had seen a lot of strange things over the years, but that one took the cake.
