I caught up with "Drawn Together" on Comedy Central last night. Jeeze, this show is HYSTERICAL!!!

I liked it too! In that really uncomfortable, not being able to look away sort of way.

Kinda like a train wreck, huh?

Oh, yeah. You want to keep watching just to see where it goes next.

Ironically enough, I never got into the equally-filthy, but much less creative, "Tripping the Rift". Maybe because the animation was so lousy in that one? At least with DT, they're spoofing the animation style of the old '70's cartoons, too!

Oh my! The Link spoof is gay!

Damn, this show is rude. I watched it though.

being gay is something you're born with, like blue eyes or a dead twin.

So...how about tonight's episode?

I always feel so bad for Ling-Ling. That adorable little rat-monster gets so abused. :(

But tonight...funny as always. :D

I saw the first couple eps and didn't think that much of them. Has it improved at all?

Tonight's ep with the licking of Ling-Ling reminded me of that Family Guy episode with the toad and dance numbers.

My dad by the way, has GREAT timing. He will walk into the room at exactly the time the most sick scene of any show will be on and be thoroughly disgusted. Its like some magic talent he possesses.

Which part was that? there were so many!

The South Park was good too

That is EXACTLY what I told my roomie while we were watching it.

Of course, as she's never seen Family Guy (and I own all the episodes...she's just lazy :P), she just gave me an odd look.

It bugged me when they played that song when the cousin showed up, because I recognized it, but I couldn't tell what song it was. I felt better a few minutes later when I remembered it was "Moving in Stereo" by the Cars. I would have been up all night trying to think of what song that was.

I saw it last night and thought of the toad licking too. I'm sure it was on purpose as this show is a parody of all kinds of other stuff. I thought it was pretty good. Better than most of the other garbage on TV. Of course, I shouldn't be staying up that late, but I did anyway.

Homer's licked toads before too.

Lisa: Dad, have you been licking toads?
Homer: I haven't *not* been licking toads!

Yeah, there was also that whole episode of Family Guy about licking toads.

Hmm, people really like to note the toad licking.

I have comenced with downloading it. I don't have cable anymore, so I miss all the good stuff. There's nothing I really want to watch on standard boradcast. Give me back my Comedy Central! And Scifi! And Discovery! And History! And Cartoon Network!

Don't worry - you're not missing anything good on Skiffy.

Well Atlantis should be starting up in a while. And Earth Sea looked intersting. And the 1 am Frascape, or are they not doing that anymore?
