So as I sit here and snack away on a bag of Jolly Ranchers (not a roll of them, but the 7oz bag), I began wondering what is really the most popular candy out there. I know a lot of people love chocolate, but that I get sick of pretty quickly. Now fruit candy I can eat for hours on end (hence the bag of Jolly Ranchers). My favs. include Salted Nut Rolls, Skittles, Starbursts, almost any kind of sucker, and Reeses Sticks, oh! and Tobleron's (Those I discovered at Spanish Camp) and Chocolate Oranges, and week old Peeps ( I only like them when they're all dried out and chewy). Ok, so that was a long list of favs., but I'm kind of a sugar freak. Teeth don't fail me now!

Oooooo... candy! Mmmmmm..
I LOVE Jolly Ranchers -- most specifically.. Green Apple and Watermelon and my FAVORITE --- Peach!!!
I like Starbursts, too, but the really tangy ones. I love chewy sweet tarts!!!
I'm also a fan of Whatchamacallit candy bars, Snickers Ice Cream Bars, Paydays, FROZEN Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and dark chocolate. I really don't care for White Chocolate. It doesn't taste right to me, for some reason. :dunno:
That's a few of mine. :D

Snocaps. Chocolate mint Hershey Kisses. Jelly Belly jellybeans (especially buttered popcorn and juicy pear). Lindt chocolate bars, and the chocolate oranges. The round See's candies that are caramel on the bottom, marshmallow in the middle and covered in dark chocolate. The old-fashioned hard candies that are round like gumballs, especially the cherry and orange ones. I had jelly-like candies made from prickly pear cactus once, too... it tasted like the jellied fruit candy. Mmmm. :)

ohhh..truer words were never spoken. you think chocolate was banned in Brave New World because of the emotion the taste would cause? it's intriguing how we respond to chocolate and/or sweets.
rocher's walnut chocolate ball things are also my favorites. those things are AMAZING. ghiradelli is another favorite. but for a classic inexpensive chocolate delicacy, you have to go for andes chocolate mints.

Hands down: Sour Patch Kids and Jelly Bellys :D
I eat Jolly Ranchers, peppermint, spearmint, etc at work when I can't go out to smoke.
And for Easter, Jelly Bellys make GREAT mini-eggs and make kids happy when a plastic egg is stuffed with them :D
