G4TechTv has recently cancelled Unscrewed w/Martin Sargant! Unscrewed was one of the few programs that made it thru the G4/TechTv merger; the staff and crew packed-up and moved from San Francisco to Los Angles. Now, after 3 months the show is being cancelled due to ratings (sounds familiar?)!
I’ll admit I’m a fan of Laura Swisher (co-host)…she’s funny, witty, intelligent and attractive (did I mention attractive, okay just checking). I’ll miss not seeing her antics nightly! Anyway, I’m here because SAVEFarscape.com had a great campaign with some really innovative ideas, which I’d like to incorporate with our “SaveLauraSwisher” campgain.
At Laura Swishers fansite (http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/LauraSwisherFans/) many have taken up a similar cause against the G4TechTv corporate structure and we’re currently trying to coordinate our efforts.
-Sponsors have been identified
-Emails will be sent
-Phone calls
Now, I’m not sure what else can be done and I’m looking for guidance down the rabbit hole! Plus, I’m extending an offer to anyone interested in participating or willing to offer feedback. Or, if your just tired of the current corporate structure defining your viewing pleasure, chime in!
“Suits” need to be taught a lesson (besides it’s a matter of principal) let’s eradicate these Peace Keepers ….”Bass or Trout”?
