Where we can bitch about not being able to go, or pretend whatever we're doing instead (writing a paper) is somehow better.

Today I will be at home spending too much time on the computer. Tomorrow, I will be working all day and and banging on my drum for my pipe band all night.

That's weird because I am working 21.5 hours this weekend as well. Wait a minute....I have Sunday off....never mind.

Well, I bought a new umbrella, and it's rainy and miserable here in Cleveland, so I feel it's my responsibility as a citizen and taxpayer to test it out to see if it is indeed "water proof". It's my duty!

I'll be sitting behind a console while we do a football game tonight, the playback in the morning, LSU/Ole Miss game tomorrow night and then the gospel show on Sunday morning.

Somehow, during all of this, I have to try and keep my foot propped up and stay off of it. By the way, have I mentioned how much I LOATHE crutches? :(

Ok....so let the bitching begin!!

Work, work, work...and then there's work to do!

...and I'm trying to save my $$ for household repairs/redecorating. The old thing needs some cosmetic surgery!!

I have that whole in college thing and I don't like to fly. My mom would have let me go but my dad would have said no if I had bothered to even mention it so instead I've just wasted several hours of my life playing Sims 2 that's probably what I'll be doing all weekend.

I-a-s-J-g and BC (and JadedLegend, too)... you're stickers are doin' just fine at the Con. :D They were on my back (on my leather jacket). But tomorrow they head... ummm.... south. :P

I just got back from a long drive a little while ago. I'm tired (wasn't feelin' too well throughout much of the day), and I have to get up early tomorrow to drive back down and have a breakfast meeting with Selena, Frun, SabacienBabe, and Tiriel before the Sat. festivities start.

I'll be posting a Con report soon, but given that I don't have a laptop it means a lot of transcribing after the fact. I'll try to at least start the report before it ends... but don't hold me to that. I'm also taking some pix (film camera) so there will be a bit of a delay in getting them posted as well. I should definitely have the entire report done well before next weekend.

Met up with StarsGoBlue, Njak, Selena, Frun, Sab.Babe, Ayurocks, UTChick, LilO. Saw a few others at a distance. Yes, BC... I signed your calender. Ignore the word "the"... it was a slip of the Sharpie.

Three key things from the first day:
1) Henson, Kemper, and the entire FS cast & crew are dumbfoundedly in a state of "shock & awe" at what the fans have accomplished over the last two years.
2) Syndication is the key, baby!!! Time to Scape your local TV stations!!!
3) Farscape ain't dead yet!!! Many possible avenues for it's future, but the hopeful focus is NOT on a series, but instead on the BUG SCREEN (nothing yet, but that's where Henson wants to go)!

G'night, peeps! :snore:

Man.. I'd love to be stuck in Texas... currently stuck in Massachusetts, lol.

Though I'd only want to be stuck in Texas because it reminds me of Saskatchewan (which has got to be beyond odd). Heck most of the time I'd rather be in Minot, ND than be in New England.

There is one upside to living in NE. You can drive like a FRICKING MANIAC and no one notices.

It's the small things that keep me going.

Wow. It's funny how life is. I'd rather be in New England!!!!!!!!! I'm stuck here in Kentucky..........but I'm from CONNECTICUT!!!

I'm not going to the con, either. Money is an issue..........but so is having no one other than me and the hubster to watch the little monsters (children).
Traveling across country in the middle of the school year.........just isn't happening.

Plus....if I'm going to spend the money to travel it's probably going to be going home to NEW ENGLAND!!!

You are right about the driving...............that is ONE thing that I don't miss down here. I do NOT miss I-95.........at all!!!!!! You're taking your life in your hands when you get on that road. It's nice to arrive ALIVE! :D

Simcoe was hilarious.

Franklin was cheeky.

Gigi is indescribably luscious. :thud: With longer hair. :thud: And barefoot. :thud:

I won a Frelly Award! :bounce:

So did BC for her Lung Slugs thread! :aok:

Sigh. I'm siting here crying in my fellip nectar. Just got off work and fellip nectar (also known as an ice cold beer) is the only thing that goes well with chilli dogs at 0-dark thiry hrs.

I'll be going to sleep now, to wake and start the cycle again at 1830 hrs tonite. Darned depressing. If I hadn't joined this board (and the community of FS fans in general) too late my frelling spirit badge would be riding on Truby's nether regions!! Double frell!

I. WANT. TO. SEE. PICUTRES!!!!!! Pleeeez? (of the CON, not truby's nether regions....alhough, now that you mention it!!) ;)
