According to this (http://www.farscapeworld.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3027) post at Farscape World, Lalaland Records has a new Farscape CD available for sale. It's a "Farscape Classics" CD with music from Revenging Angel and Eat Me. (Guy Gross, the composer, won a huge Australian award for the Revenging Angel music.)
It can be ordered directly from Lalaland Records here (http://www.lalalandrecords.com/FarscapeClassics1.html) and is a limited edition of only 1200 copies, so order early! Shipping date is shown as December 14.
ETA: Lalaland posted some more info below, in post #4.

Bugger, don't have the right type of card.
Are any other places selling this, or is it exlusive to the lalaland site.

I would guess it will be sold through other places, since the PKW CD is also produced by Lalaland and is now available at Amazon, but that's just supposition on my part.
ETA: On the other hand, since it's such a limited run, it may not be available anywhere else. :dunno:

Thanks all for helping us get the word out on these great CDs.
FARSCAPE CLASSICS: VOL ONE is a special limited edition of 1200 units and is an internet-only exclusive.
Currently, and for the next week or so, it is ONLY available for pre-order on the la-la land site www.lalalandrecords.com When the disc is released next month, it will also be made available through other specialized internet soundtrack stores such as Screen Archives, Intrada, BuySoundtrax and a handful of others that handle these type of limited collector's items.
As of right now, there are no plans to make this limited series available at major web retailers such as Amazon.
If you've any other questions, please e-mail us at info@lalaland-ent.com
Hope you all enjoy these discs as much as we enjoyed working on them! Plans are to release another volume every few months, featuring another 2 great episode scores.

The "Eat me" soundtrack is the most overrated thing ever!

I watched both episodes the other day, and while watching "Eat Me" I did keep thinking "they're bringing out a CD for this!?" there's hardly any of what I'd call "music" in it. When I watched "Revenging Angel", the whole way through I was thinking "this'd be a great CD".
So it's one CD that might never leave the case, but another, that'd get listened to almost as much as my Peacekeeper Wars and Buffy Musical CDs.
Just got to find a way to get the blessed thing.

I'm really excited about these classic editions -- I squealed a bit when I picked up the flyer in Burbank :) Not only am I a soundtrack junkie in general, but I'm a wee bit addicted to those CD booklets. This one apparently has art and liner notes (plus, though I'm not big on autographed photos, I *do* like collecting autographs on CD booklets...my PK Wars CD insert now has Anth, Gigi and Wayne's signatures in addition to Guy Gross's).

From what I understand, Guy Gross personally picked out these two episodes for the first Classics album so let's not rag on the music too much, okay? I know we're all entitled to our opinion, but we should be grateful we're getting anything at all and the fact that LaLaLand Records is doing this for us is incredible. I got to talk to THE guys from LaLaLand at the con in Burbank and they're really excited to be putting these out. If they sell well, and there's no reason they shouldn't, in a few years we'll have all 88 episodes of music on CD.
Plus on this release we're finally getting the third and fourth season opening title theme music! WOO-HOO!!!
They also had a copy of the insert booklet and it looked A-MA-ZING!!! Lots of info and screencaps from the eps. Twelve pages if I remember correctly. Really top notch stuff and worthy of carrying the Farscape name!
So, if you haven't already pre-ordered this yet, get out there and do it!

Considering opening a paypal account in order to buy this CD, what I want to know is: is paypal safe, is it secure, or am I going to run the risk of having large amounts of money stolen from my bank account?
Also, can I use a Solo card to buy this CD through paypal, cos if I cant im back to square one.

Oh, lalaland, I hope you do "Scratch 'n Sniff" (I think it's 3rd on your poll now).

Guy Gross has just posted (http://mboard.scifi.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=323273&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=&vc=1&PHPSESSID=) on the Sci-Fi board. Surprisingly it doesn't look as if there have been many takers as yet :( I'd have thought it would have sold well, especially so near Xmas. Has anyone received email confirmation of their order from La-La land records? I did for PKW but not for this one.
Here's the link (http://www.lalalandrecords.com/FarscapeClassics1.html) for ordering from La-La land Records. It's the first in a limited edition set only available via the internet.

I *did* receive an email confirmation from Lalaland within about 24 hours of ordering for both the PKW CD and this CD.

Considering opening a paypal account in order to buy this CD, what I want to know is: is paypal safe, is it secure, or am I going to run the risk of having large amounts of money stolen from my bank account?I haven't had any problems with paypal but others have (had serious problems!). Here is a thread on FMD: OMG Paypal gets worse (http://www.watchfarscape.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28861)
of course I don't have paypal hooked up to my bank account... that might be the biggest danger?/concern. LaLaLand does have a printable form for check/MO too (here (http://www.lalalandrecords.com/PrintableOrderForm.html), from front and order page).

Ta for that, decided not to risk using paypal in the end and got my parents to order it for xmas.
