I'm glad that Ben and Claud have work, but damn - they really oughta just shutter SG-1 and start a new SG show, given the changes and adjustments in personnel. THAT at least, would take some of the stink off of Producer Brad Wright's gloating comments about Farscape's cancellation.

All I can say to that comment is "Law & Order". That show keeps going and going after more cast changes than Stargate has every had. They too have taken actors from other shows like NYPD Blue, Crime Story, Angel. The ability to go on despite cast and character changes actually MAKES it a franchise. It doesn't destroy it. If a show is reliant on one cast and one cast only, it's not a "franchise".

Yep. I was asked in an NBC Universal survey why I was planning on watching SG-1 and I said it was because of Claudia.

I also said they'd be smart to hire Farscape actors for their other programming.

I meant it broadly to mean any NBC Universal show, but anyhow....

Actually Claudia was first on SG-1. Her episode (Season 8 ep. 11 "Prometheus Unbound" will be on air in UK (Sky One) next week (Dec. 21st) and in USA at the end of January (28th).

I'm not SG-1 fan at all, every time I try to watch it on HBO here in Poland (they've just finished 6th season) I change the channel after 5 minutes or so. But I'm definitely going to watch Claud's episodes! and maybe the rest of Season 9 with Ben, don't know yet ;)

Do you know what I reckon would be cool?

If and when Claud and Ben characters on SG1 come into contact in S9, and say Claud's character is with Daniel Jackson, I won't mind, but just for us Scapers I wish that Ben would make some really subtle comment or something that only us scapers would know. Like a really subtle farscape comment, or maybe a look at Claud that just says it all.

Just one little thing like that, 2 seconds or soemthing, I reckon would be great, and then we will never have to see another farscape reference or anything, because that one reference or adlib that ben made would...yeh.

I hope you guys understand what I'm trying to say, I'm not real good at explaining things etc.
