View Full Version : I bent my wookiee

The past couple of days I've had a few close calls with icy patches on the sidewalk, so I guess it was only a matter of time before I finally ended up sprawled out on the pavement. This morning I slipped in the park and landed on the right side of my back. I got up after a few seconds, but my chest, back and right knee are sore. Also, I kinda dented my (er, the company's) laptop. But it works fine, since I'm using it.

Wookie???

Is your wookie tall and hairy, like a walking carpet?

Seems strange that there is more concern about the wookiee than g_s's chest, back and right knee....

Hope you feel better soon g_s

sigh...that's what Ralph said when he fell down on top of his Star Wars diorama.

I beat the smart kids! I beat the smart kids! Ow...I bent my wookiee.

I'm in pain. Humor me.

Poor g_s! :( Here's a :hug2: to make you feel better! :D
Maybe Santa :santa: will bring you some of those thingies you strap to the bottom of your shoes to keep you from slipping.

Not that it matters, but a few years ago I slipped and grabbed g_s' jacket (he was walking next to me) but instead of helping me, he pushed me off.

Also, it was funny. And I KNOW you laughed when you read this, you bastard.

I almost didn't click on this thread after seeing the title, cuz I think I've had enough trauma this week. I feel terribly about your injuries. :snicker: But the image in my head of you flailing about while Tai Chi'ers just watched was well worth it.

I walked into the assisted living place where my sister works and I decided to stop and see this old lady I know. I knocked and knocked, but her tv was really loud, so I opened the door and yelled. Al: Looks like he's able to get up on his own.

John: Yeah, and I tell you what, he's lucky. You have to look out for those ice patches. See, right there. His foot is just touching the ice, but it's enough for a down.

Al: That was a close call.

John: Yeah, I tell you what. They used to put stickum on their cleats, but...

line from Mr. Mom:
I understand that you little guys start out with your woobies and you think they're great... and they are, they are terrific. But pretty soon, a woobie isn't enough. You're out on the street trying to score an electric blanket, or maybe a quilt. And the next thing you know, you're strung out on bedspreads Ken. That's serious.

I guess it would be safer than breaking your butt :D ....I hope you feel better soon...
