Some of them they play over and over, some of them they don't play at all. I find that unusual. I doubt that the broadcasting rights for the movies would be broken up... so why not play them all?

And they're all out of order... I'd play them in order... but that's just me

CBS has the rights to Tomorrow Never Dies, I know NBC played GoldenEye before.

I miss TBS's 15 Days of 007. Spike TV could never replace that wonderful block.

And who did Virginia Hey play in Living Daylights?

malachilenomade
12-21-2004, 02:18 PM
Rubavitch

And who did Virginia Hey play in Living Daylights?

She played General Pushkin's wife or girlfriend can't remember which.

"Do you expect me to talk?"
"No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!" :D

You know, its amazing how many commercials SPIKE manages to fit in. They make every movie seem like 3 hours.

I think Tomorrow Never Dies is the best Brosnan Bond. Oh, and if I see one more "Naughty or Nice" promo, I'm gonna scream.

AgentSun
12-24-2004, 09:33 PM

buffy is a great show. one of the best there ever was. and gilmore girls. that too is a wonderful show to be enjoyed by all. it's a show that most guys would watch too, cause it's actually really GOOD writing.

I used to love the TBS Bond marathons, of course, they always seemed to coincide with finals for me. I've got most of them on VHS, but haven't gotten around to the box sets yet, in part because I don't want the Dalton movies, though I may have to watch the one Ginny's in.

AgentSun
12-25-2004, 11:46 PM
maybe i'm too young, but i don't like the other bond flicks as much as i like the brosnan ones. i mean, maybe it's the same reason i like TNG more than the other ones. i grew up with it. perhaps that is why.

Mazinkaiser
12-26-2004, 11:01 AM
I like them all, I'm just a Bond fan in general. I got most of them on vhs and have all of them on dvd. Over the last couple of years I started buying the posters for each movie. So far I have eleven, having trouble finding some of the Moore ones and the Dalton ones.

BillFrugge

I've got the first twelve (?) on VHS tape. I purchased them as a set with two slipcases, and was later upset when I realised that there might be a widescreen set available instead of these pan&scan tapes. I've picked up all of them on DVD now, and haven't decided what to do with the tapes.

Connery is the best. (IMO) I've only seen a couple of the Dalton films, and haven't even looked at the Brosnan films.

Mazinkaiser
12-27-2004, 07:11 AM
You should give the first 3 Brosnan's a try. Die Another Day is average at best.

BillFrugge
12-27-2004, 07:36 AM
Ouch! I guess I did see Goldeneye. I didn't care for it, though...

malachilenomade

and haven't decided what to do with the tapes.

You should give them to the military project (http://www.watchfarscape.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31474) :aok:

Everyone pretty much agrees that Connery was the best (even the others who have played Bond)... my personal second is Brosnan. I grew up with Moore, but some of his movies were a tad campy for my taste.... and the bell-bottoms :P Hate bell-bottoms :P

Mazinkaiser
12-29-2004, 08:02 AM
One of my favorite Moore's is Spy Who Loved Me, but I can't stop stating at those damn bell bottoms.
