I wasn't too fond of the movie. Loved the riffing, but why the frell are they trying to give it a plot during the breaks. Did love Servo's underwear collection. Plus, I saw it first, LIVE! They presented it at the first convention on stage, when Frank was still with the show. Kim Catrell was suppose to show, but backed out. So Crow ended up singing to her and getting pissed and telling her to "Go to Hell, Kim Catrell!" Very funny. Catrell has a great sense of humor too. She attended the con the next year and talked about accidentally tuning into the show and seeing a robot singing a love song to her. Great stuff. Excellent con.

Always wish I had made the cons... One of my favorite parts of the movie was Trace's intro ("IIIIIIIIIIII'm a naughty boy!! Naughty! Naughty! Naughty!" I have that as a sound file :D).

Trace was always my favorite from the original series... Dr Clayton Forrester and Crow T Robot :D

My fave lines were
"Remember me now Ruth? Shrinky Dink"

and when someone is walking by in the background and the bots are making car racing noises.

ETA: I think Trace was the best part of that show. So versitile. I loved Joel, but Trace was the one with "pushing the envelope" laughs. I wish I could see more of his work.

Last I checked, he was still a writer on America's Funniest Videos. J. Elvis (Josh Weinstein) worked on that show as well.

You can also check out Dark Star (http://www.mst3kinfo.com/darkstar/index.html), which has Joel, Trace, J. Elvis, Frank, and BEEEEEEEZ in it :D Not sure if it's been released yet... it SHOULD have been, but they may still be working on it.

I'm sorry, but I can't bring myself to watch America's Funniest Home Videos. But I did buy his comic book.
