sniffles. i just got vacation time after christmas for work, and while i was really surprised that i actually got it when i asked for it, and it was the time i requested it for, it is quite possible now that i won't be able to go to my bf's house for new years at all. first off, he lives 6 hours away. second, it's winter and the weather might get crazy here later. and third, he might be out of town during that time (something he can't control really) and therefore, it means i can go there instead, but will need to drive an additional 2 to 3 hours BESIDES the original 6! so that's a buttload of driving!

my biggest concern is the weather. i hate winter traveling, and i hate snow. if it snows even a bit, my parents will be so incredibly anal about it. my parents don't like the idea of me driving for 6 hours, let alone 8 or 9. i'm still their little girl...hell, i had to convince them to let me drive the 3.5 it takes to get home from college. my mom even insisted that i drive on friday morning instead of thursday night because there would be sunlight. i drove on thursday night anyway. i'm still the little girl...and last christmas, when i visited my bf, he drove the 6 hours down here, stayed a night, then we drove 6 back. my parents didn't want me driving down there at all.

so i'm kind of down about the prospect of not being able to go...sigh. i don't know yet though. it depends on the weather, his schedule, and my parents. i don't want my parents and i on bad terms...i'm away a lot and us on bad terms is BAD for us. veeeery bad.

sigh. i just needed to vent. thanks guys.

now...onto the german chocolate cake ice cream i have.

I'm home alone for xmas. Well i got my friends, but my family flew home for the holidays. Most of them are pretty mad I'm not there, but I hate flying. I imagine they'll be ticked off if I go to New York with my friends, :D Now to my chocolate fudge brownie ice cream :)

Ice cream is such a comfort. It's really warm in Massachusetts today. It was in the 60's. So, to have something cold would be nice. Warm weather before Christmas just doesn't seem right, but, I'll take it over snow anyday.
