Wow, I don't stop by for a week or 2 and when I do, Claudia's appearance on SG-1 goes from an expected 1-ep to 5, and Ben is going to be a regular?!

Anyway, I collect comics and there have been uses of "Frell" before, but the newest issue of Excalibur had it, and Magneto using his powers to open a wormhole for the first time.

I also believe 'frell' was used in Astonishing X-Men this month, which is written by Joss Whedon, former writer of Buffy.

Chris Claremont writes Uncanny X-Men and Excalibur, and "frell" gets several mentions in each series.

So, any other readers/collectors here want to relate what they've noticed in comics?

I suppose it was just a coincedence, but I was amused when my 8 year old daughter was watching Elle Enchanted: the town she lived in was named Frell .. she was Ella of Frell! :D

Doesn't surprise me that Whedon would make reference....Spike dialog "well, bring on the comfy chair..." when he was going to be tied to a chair and one ep has Xander exclaiming "YOTZ".

I also saw two things Scape related. TLC's "While you were out" host Evan Farmer yells "Can I get a Hell Yeah?" (almost fell out of my seat) and "Bringing Down the House (Queen Latifah & Steve Martin)...Michale Duncan Clarke's gangstah character was wearing the communicater pendant that is produced in OZ.

Some of those may not be Scape references per se, though, but references to the things Farscape was referring to - e.g. "bring on the comfy chair" is a Python-ism, and I believe "Can I get a Hell Yeah?" may be a wrestling thing.

Right, "Can I get a Hell Yeah?" duing his fight with the neural clone was just John quoting Steve Austin, pro wrestler.

And I'd forgotten about that other line being in Python movie, but I recalled Spike from Buffying saying it. Though I didn't recall Xander saying "YOTZ", I thought he said something like "ZONKS" from Scoobie? I dunno.

Chris Claremont uses ALOT of science fiction television show references in his comics. He has referenced Doctor Who, Blake's 7, Babylon 5 and many other shows. Heck, he even had a Dalek appear in the background in an issue of X-Men.

Xander says 'Zoinks' not 'Yotz'... it is a Scooby reference. He actually says it more than once.
