Well, it started here in Downingtown around 10:00 am. The adventure begins. What's up in your area???

No snow down here in SC so far this season....and I want some too *pout* :( But we did get a little freezing rain, but now it's all a yucky drizzle.

Well, same as above for Philly, but I talked to my mom this morning in Detroit and they have about 7 inches and it's still coming down hard.

6 degrees over here. Lots of sunshine today. Haven't had any snow. It's like we skipped winter and started spring early.

It's going to go off the coast of New Jersey and move north smacking New England - so they're saying. Boston may get over 2' of snow.

They're calling for blizzard conditions tonight and tomorrow morning. I can hardly wait...not. We often lose our power in high wind and snow, so.....I may become as popsicle!

Currently 8 degrees!

Everyone in Indiana knows the drill... The grocery stores were busy yesterday.

It started snowing here like 1ish, and now... it's just bad. I need to go out and get stuff for the Valentine's, but now I don't want to go anywhere.

18 degrees here in Historic Mount Holly, NJ and the snow started around 11:00 am. I made 2 little shelters for feeding the wild birds and they're going to town! :aok: Must have 50 different birds flying in and out of the shelters and eating the seeds on the ground. I'll keep replenishing them all day long. I feel so sorry for all the little critters outside. :cry2: I just can't figure out how to provide them with water. Guess I should have bought a heater for the water. :headbang: Funny thing is....I don't see any squirrels out. They usually gorge themselves on the seeds.
They say we could get up to 18" by the time it's over. Time to get out my new Starburst Editions and PKW!

Our squirrels aren't out, either...Neither are the birds, come to think of it. Up to almost 3 inches here now. :)

Sleet & freezing rain here in Louisville - not projected to get anything of any significance (like the 23rd of Dec!), roads are a little slick, but not too bad...temp is around 28 F. Gotta love the Ohio Valley!

Uh, cloudy, sprinkling, and a small, slight, slim chance that we might just get snow FLURRIES....crud...i want to go sledding.....not much sledding down here in TN

Upper East TN here. Same. Annoying flurries, cold muddy rain and only one actual snow for the entire season so far but even that was slight. Now, I'm not big on lovin' the snow but I'd like to have at least one good winter mood-setting showfall to mark the season.

Bright and sunny out here. Around 45 degrees... all in all, quite pleasant. In fact I had to take my coat off to keep from sweating too much this morning. ;)

Mostly sunny :sun:, high of 77 today. I actually had to put *shorts* on this morning because the long pants were too hot. :P It's supposed to get colder tomorrow and Monday, with out lows dropping back down into the 40s.

Got about a foot in the past week here in Rochester, NY. And now is in the process of dumping another 1 - 2 feet between now and Sunday at noon.

We have about 6" now...but it looks like more than that to me. not-John has already been outside clearing the sidewalk and bottom part of the driveway. The worst thing is the guys plowing the street in front of our house. As they go down the street the plow dumps all the accumulated snow in the plow into the bottom of our driveway!!! RATS! :irate:
I like to sit inside and watch the snow fall...LOL! :rollin: For a jirl from Dagoba....I love the snow!

Girlie, the birds came back so I cleaned off our table outside and put feed out for them. ;) :D

It snowed here on Friday and it was our first significant snowfall of the season. I tired myself out at work shoveling snow so we could keep the fire exits clear only to see that the snow was starting to accumulate again. We spent the ealry part of the day clearing out the driveway so we could get the cars in and out.

Here in Detroit, we got a little over a foot of snow.

LiLOrion
01-23-2005, 10:01 AM
We got about a foot too.

And after I almost finished shoveling my drive, some nice man came with a snow blower and finished the hard part, all the snow from the plow, which was in front of my car. I'm glad I was saving that for last. :D

I live in Louisiana.

Snow? There's snow falling somewhere? It's in the low-mid 30's here right now with beautiful blue skies. It'll be back up in the low 70s by mid week, and then back down to the low 60's next weekend. Before you say we don't have winter here, this IS our winter!!!!

I miss snow. :grumpy:

It wouldnt be so bad if the wind wasnt so...windy.

I was getting the snow off the roof of my car and the wind came round the corner and I pelted myself in my ear with a shovel-full of snow. It was funny, until that side of my face started burning. :D
