Everyday ERP

Okay - I wasn't going to do this but here I go... this is a 'pity me' thread... or a laugh at/for me thread too... share my pain.

At my work we are now using new HR/Payroll software which includes Enterprise Resource Planning, so my institution refers to the whole system as "ERP." And everyone calls it "ERP" (as in "he claims to be from a planet called...").

They've been advertising its implementation for months and months. And it will continue to be called "ERP."

I used to think this was funny. Now I feel like work is creeping into FS (play). No fair.

ah, better to be sentenced to the hell-of-THREE-LETTER-ACRONYMS or TLA's, than to install an ERP system... just try to avoid being on the helpdesk and you should heal up soon... :aok:
