I just had a big shock seeing her and it sorta sent me swirling back to the boards :D
I don't want to say anything about the episode, in case someone here watches it. It's cool ... and a little confusing, heh.

SciFi usually repeats Friday's new SG-1 episodes on the following Monday, so yes.

It was a pretty good episode. I'll try not to give too much away, in case anyone is going to try and catch it this Monday, but there were similarities in her SG-1 character and Aeryn Sun. It was also a little strange watching her play opposite Daniel Shanks instead of Ben Browder. It ended such that they could bring back Claudia's character in the future. I would be up to watch another SG-1 episode with her character (Vala, I think the name was). It has been hinted that SG-1 could bring back the Vala character, so it is possible we might see Claudia and Ben together again on the small screen, since he is joining as a regular. It would be interesting to see how she plays the character against what ever character Ben Browder plays on SG-1. I would have trouble watching them both on screen together without thinking of Aeryn Sun and John Crichton, so it might be a little strange watching them in their SG-1 roles. On the other hand, they are both good acters, so it might also be really good. We'll just have to see.

Claudia Black will reprise her role as Vala in next season's SG1 (the season that Ben Browder starts his new role) so they will be "together" somehow. She's supposed to be in the first 5 episodes.

It was wierd to see her on it, but it stopped me from turning over. I think they deliberately had Daniel with his glasses off for most of their scenes, because if you really screwed your eyes up you could almost, if you'd had a big glass of wine, nearly think it was Ben on a bad day! In fact, he delivered a very Ben line - 'The name's Hans, Hans Olo', just the sort of thing Crichton would do, plus he was wearing shiny black pants at the time. I would hope it was a nod to the greatness of Farscape - imitation is, after all, the highest form of flattery.

^^^ I noticed that about the Ben-ish line. Thought it was out of place for Daniel ...

Well, I don't know about out of place...he did claim once, in Goa'Uld, to be "the great and powerful wizard of Oz"...but that's neither here nor there. :D
(No, I don't memorize SG-1 episodes...I just happen to have had a fairly recent episode binge).
