A like an occasional glass of a fine red wine.

As for mixed drinks... a Bocci Ball (Amaretto, OJ, spritz of Club Soda over ice).

And a very well made Pina Colada (with a dash of Blue Curacao to make it look like a Raslak). :D

I prefer a nice glass of wine, we have something like 300 bottles in wine refrigerators, I keep meaning to inventory them and see what we've got so the stuff that needs to be drunk, gets drunk.

Aside from wine, depends on time of year and location. I was big on Mai Tais in Hawaii, when it's cool/cold out I go for hot-buttered rum, simple is rum and Coke. Ball games it has to be beer, preferably one of the microbrews as I'm not much on American Lagers.

There is no good answer.

Tonight, it will be a nice rich chardonnay, tomorrow, who knows.

I'm not really a big drinker. In fact, I've only been twenty-one for about half a year and haven't gotten much of a chance to try all that much since. Surprisingly enough, I most enjoyed straight Jack Daniels. I guess my theory on alcohol is this, alcohol doesn't taste good. The so called 'girlie drinks' don't do that much, so I would rather drink the non-alcoholic counterparts. If I want to get drunk, I'd rather get there and not pussy foot around it.

I enjoy an occasional Irish Car Bomb: a glass of guinness with 2 shots of Bailey's dropped in. Although I usually drink Maker's Mark neat.

Usually straight vodka or whiskey, but since you seem to mean shots, Dead Hitlers.

I'm eighteen, so naturally I drink beer, but if I have some money on me, i'll invest in the more expensive stuff. No, not Corona. But Stouts. Guiness Draught and Kilkenny, I tell you, the brits and the Irish make pretty good beer.

As for drinks? Just some vodcacola.

For the fist few eps of Firefly I couldnt remember Morena Baccarins name so I just called her Bacardi and coke. :D for real

edit: another good beer is Newcastle Brown Ale

Don't like the taste of alcohol, so if I get drunk I don't want the crappy bitter taste, so it's either Long Island Iced Tea, or shots, of pretty much whatever, because it's not in my mouth long enough for a substancial taste. Hate Yager.

Kamikaze: 1 cl fresh limejuice, 2cl cointreau, 2cl vodka

I also like White Russian and the more unusual dub Russian.

Beerwise I prefer lager, but not american coz american beer tastes like water.

I like red wine, preferably Pinot Noir.

/going to mal's for MUDSLIDES!!!

That being said - since I'm preggers, I am only allowed 1 adult beverage per day (yeah, right - I haven't had so much as a beer since the Kentucky/Louisville game!!!) Right now, bev of choice is a "Yee-haw" (name made up by my sis-in-law & myself) - consists of Yoo-hoo (small bottle) with a shot or two of Bailey's (take a drink or two of the Yoo-hoo before adding the Bailey's - lest it get really messy)..
Yummy...

In Florida, love my daiquiris & strawberry margaritas!!!

Mine is a toss up between a fuzzy navel, a strawberry daquari, a pina colada or a Bailey's .... oh .... and I've recently acquired a taste for margaritas - especially if pizza is on the menu - but I have to be watching Farscape. :aok:

Not much of a drinker, and I tend to go for the fruity, "girlie" drinks ...

Malibu Bay Breeze (or just about anything with Malibu, because I love it!)
Frozen Strawberry Daquaris & Margaritas
Had a great drink once called "Nuts & Berries." No idea what was in it, but it tasted like ... nuts and berries :D

I mostly drink Amstel Beer (not the light shite that is sold in the U.S.) or Heineken, but I also enjoy other beverages like a red wine now and then.

Crown & Mt. Dew

But if I'm in a pinch, I'll settle for:

Kamikaze
Tequila Sunrise
Screwdriver
Fuzzy Navel
or a good 'ol beer

wtf is a fuzzy navel?

fuzzy navel is Peach Schnapps and orange juice, pretty good, fruitier than a screwdriver (vodka and OJ)

After 4 years of college I'm pretty much sick of beer. But, I do like Newcastle Brown Ale.

Scotch, most brands. Bourbon, Jack Daniels Single Barrell.

I only drink draft beer. It seems to taste better for some reason. The colder the better.

I used to drink Tequilla Sunrises constantly, but it's been a while.

I'm generally not a beer person. When I do drink it, oddly the only kinds I like are cheap ass brands of Mexican beer.

For a long while I was never really choosy about what I drank. I mean music and drink go so well together that you sometimes forget that there's also quality out there as well as quantity, and although, I always used to draw the line with Breakers and Special Brew, my favourite strong lager was always Laughingbrew (Lauenbrau)?

Just recently though I had a really nice rum. Normally, I almost always drank either Captain Morgans (mostly straight) or mixed Wray & Nephews Jamacan white rum with a fruity drink.

But anyway, this other rum that I had was really gorgeous. It doesn't look like a rum at all. As you pick it up (straight, not mixed) you get the most wonderful aromas of vanilla, and when you've taken a sip you get a really nice caramel taste caressing your taste buds.

I also enjoy a Shiraz, California red wine. Now this wine I can really get into.

My favourites (so far):
Draught Guiness
Lauenbrau lager. Not sure about the spelling?
Baileys
Morgan's Spicey rum
California Shiraz wine
Gaymers Old English Cider

I should mention, if anyone has the chance, people should pick up Soju. It's Korean rice liquor.

It's colorless, odorless, tasteless (ironically, much like most dangerous gases :D). You can mix it with ANYTHING!!!! Just be careful drinking it... it doesn't kick in immediately. It tends to wait about 30 minutes, then slams into you like a runaway freight train :aok:

If your local Wine & Spirits/State stores (or you lucky bastards that can walk into your local super market) don't carry it, they can order it (the larger ones can anyway). Only problem is, to order it, you have to order 24 bottles of it

But I highly recommend it :aok:

I suppose now would be a good time to mention that the joke about it is that it's supposedly one active ingredient away from being embalming fluid... but you can just ignore what I am typing right now :D
