The tattoos on D'argos chin are the markings of a General. D'argo's not a general though, he took the markings off another general when they thought they were going to be captured (to avoid the general himself getting captured).

Minor spoiler for season 3

Luxans can also have other tattoos, for example a unity tattoo so signify betrothment.

Yeah, they should subtitle the series, "Instant Insanity"... I started in on S2 last night and watched the first 4 eps. Totally lost it on "Crackers don't matter." I mean, really... WHAT were they smoking???

Thanks for the info on the pics and the tatts. Got the info on the general thing so that clears THAT up. Had some hints on the union thing from reading stuff. At least I know which one is which. Now if someone knew just how ... uh ... far DOWN the chest tatt is and if he has any others.
