Which element--Fire, Water, Earth or Air--do you have the strongest affinity for?

I've always felt like a "Fire" person, with a weaker tie to Earth. I'm definitely NOT a water person in any way.

I have taken a test on this before. My result was always Air. I prefer the night sky. I love to just watch the stars. Storms excite me. Even though I panic when they happen at night.

It says I align with water, which is fine with me 'cause my hubby is scorpio. I'm aries so I always tell him we get together to make some steam. ;)

I have an affinity for all of them and feel strongly tied to each. It's very hard to try to seperate them and pick one ... plus with the Chinese including metal and wood ...

The way you're asking I'd have to say I feel most influenced by water. If I ever lived too far away from water like the ocean or at least a lake I would feel something terribly missing in my spirit but I still like being inland enough I can also feel the forests. But I think it's domunant fire and water leaning into air, then earth trapsing along for the grounding :P

I didn't take the test... but definately water. I spent an obscene amount of time at my grandparent's in California and I long as I can remember I was in the water and able to swim around to some extent. I'll have to ask my grandparents when they first started taking me in their pool, but my guess is around 1.

Besides that, they also had a beach condo right out of Santa Cruz, and we would spent the entire day out on the beach and in the ocean. Play in the waves, body surf, hunt for sand dollars in the wee hours. I love just being in the ocean, even when it's freezing, haha, the last two times I've gone out to that beach the water's been wicked cold but I'd go in anyway. In Hawaii I spent like 6 hours straight almost every day in the water.

Whenever I'm sick the first thing I want to do is spend an hour in the shower or soak in a nice, warm bath. I miss having a bathtub :(

And it's weird though, because I feel most strongly connected to water, but I'm also incredibly scared of really deep water. It's probably because I had a private swim teacher when I was like four who threw a bunch of diving sticks into the deep end of my grandparent's swmming pool (8ft) and told me to go get them... on the FIRST day of lessons. Did I mention I was four? It was traumatic... there was crying involved...as well as firing involved. So I went snorkeling in Hawaii off the beach and I was perfectly fine there, but then later we went on a boat of to Molokini and when I got into the water (40ft deep) I had a panic attack and had to get back on the boat.

Probably the second element for me would be fire. I always loved to play with fire, not to set them, but to play with existing fires. My dad and I camped out on the beach once and had a fire going and I played with it like all night. That was also when I was very young, but it's still something that I think is fun to do or watch.

The quiz said Earth... but I think I know myself better than an Internet quiz. :rolleyes:

I voted water because I love to photograph splashes and rivers and water falls and I am obsessed with Mother Ocean and the sense of infinity i get looking over her vast horizon and watching the rhythmic pattern of her waves.
but I would have to say my real attraction is to fluidity and motion.
fire has the same wave patterns and fluid motion as water and blasts in a strong breeze in the same fashion as a wave crashes against the rocks.
I can see that same elegant and graceful motion in a martial artist in action, the shape of a sea shell, a sudden violent bolt of lightning, and the form and contours of a beautiful model at drawing class.
water is the most abundant and accessible source of that fluidity.
