I've been listening to a lot of SOAD as usual. But also Red Hot Chili Peppers Live in Hyde Park, that is one hell of a record, the jamming is like out of this world.
Some other songs:
David Bowie - Somebody Out There Likes You
Led Zeppelin - No Quarter
Moneybrother - They're Building Walls Around Us
The Sounds - Rock 'n Roll
Spiderbait - Black Betty
And the manditory Floyd session once in awhile
There's propably like 100 songs I forgot, but it's good to keep the list short.
edit: I knew I would have to add some song to the list
Venetian Snares - All the Children are Dead. I listen to this kind of music very seldom, but this is the sickest song i've heard in a long while.. and I hear the story is in it true.

hitomi - I Am
Ayumi Hamasaki - Dearest
Boa - Every Heart (Minna no Kimochi)
Every Little Thing - Yura Yura [Rock]

I LOVE No More Words!! A lot of people complain about that being the worst song on "I am..." but I adore it! Have you heard the remixes??
If you want any Ayu songs or anything.. lemme know.. I have all her albums and a huge chunk of her singles.

I am jamming my friend's new CD. She just released her new full length cd.
Please check out the music www.queenv.com
If that doesn't get you the page with the upper clickable section(that will take you to other areas of the site besides news) use this addy

If you like the stuff, please buy a cd and tell your friends about it. Word of mouth is ahuge help since this entire "project" is an out-of-pocket rock n roll experience.

My brother got me interested in a band called Refused and I've been listening to their cd 'The Shape Of Punk To Come: A Chimerical Bombation In 12 Bursts' lately.

The whole Jet "Get Born" album. I love it, I love it. Plus an awesome new-age cellist named Claire Fitch. I heard some of her music on soma.fm, through my iTunes radio channels. I found her website and bought her CD, called Lunarsheen. It's gorgeous! It was sent from Ireland, addressed by hand by Claire herself. Let's hear it for all those enterprising musicians putting out their own CDs!

Just got Subliminal Verses of Slipknot off the half off rack, and i've been jamming to that for a while. Waiting on Hypnotize to drop.... oh how I wait.
These are the ones that are playing on my MP3 player a lot:
Swallow the Sun - Through Her Silvery Body
Audioslave - Be yourself -- Like a Stone
Tank! (bebop theme)
Billy Idol - Cradle of Love
Some S&M from Metallica
Opeth - Deliverance
Led Zepplin - Dazed and Confused.
Oddly enough RHCP is still on the list with the Hyde park CD and the Slane Castle DVD.
Again, I left something out, so i'll be editing this post soon.

Thats the better half of the band, I saw 2 of the guys from At the Drive-In playing in this band called sparta, they were not great infact they were the opposite of great. Mars Volta is so much better than Sparta

"Remedy" is a good song.
I've been listening to:
Billy Idol - Flesh for Fantasy
.... actually now that I think about it, I haven't really been listening to any new stuff apart from Hypnotize.
I did get back into TOOL. Parabola is a great song... and it has a creepy video. So does Schism
