Well I just saw What was Lost again for the 1st time after seeing PKW, and I've got to say, no way could the Eidelons in that episode can be the Eidelons we saw in PKW/Bad Timing
could it be that the Aliens in Bad Timing were supposed to some other specie but since the show got cancelled they decided on making them the Eidelons from What Was Lost
did anyone from the Cast/Producers comment on that?
here are some pics to compare

A: they were a branch of Eidelons who lost their way
B: they were Eidelon wanna-bes
or
C: they were changed for PKW, so they would look better
and not confuse or frighten newbies?

I'd say odedh has a point, that's what I was thinking too.

or maybe evolution, as the ones in WWL, were basically a part of a flashback, if I'm remembering correctly (gotta get out the DVDs now!), and that was some millenia ago. Flash forward to the PKW Eidelons, and bingo...Also, mayhap the makeup on the older Eidelons hid the "seams"? Just things I pondered as well...

Hiding the seams is what I was thinking too. ;)

That's obviously a ceremonial mask. I mean, the top of it is completely flat! Who knows what's behind it?

The big questions are who was their enemy, the enemy of peace as Noranti called them, and were are they now?
Another why didn't any other races at the time not help them including they own bodyguards the Peacekeepers if they were so help fully keeping peace?

Also an interesting note, they are called Qujagan in the last issue of Farscape magazine.

Keep in mind that the first "split-head" appearance of the Eidelons wasn't the mini series. It was in Bad Timing.

Yes, the Qujagan.
Personaly I think the enemy was the Peacekeeper High Command.
Think about it, in any crime what do you look for? Motive, Oppurtunity and Means.
Motive - Freedom from Eidelon oversite so they could pursue their on objectives.
Opputunity - Who's got a better one then the people in charge of guarding your back?
Means - Used once in history? How offten does a super weapon only get used once. Then again if all your enemies started getting wiped out by the same weapon then it would remove all doubt who wiped out the Eidelons. Wouldn't want the civies among the Sabation race or the other races who respected the Eidelons getting upset with you before you consolidate your power now would you. I bet the not knowing even caused some of those other races to come under the protection of the "Trusted Acolytes".
Edited to kill a typo demon. :sniper: :elol:

It a good point that the Peacekeepers play some role in the destruction of the Eidelons. I don't think they were the original master mind behind it or the one who care it out directly but another group who had the tech to do it and either did not have the miliarty power or didn't want to hurt the Peacekeepers.
A group I think who could of done it was the Anicents. We know they use other people, like John, to do they dirty work, stopping race getting wormhole tech, or help them carry out plans like they want to do against Furlow. Thinking about how did the Eidelons get to Earth in the first? Was it with wormholes. Did they travel forward in time to Earth of 3,000 B.C. from they time of 10,000 years ago. Remeber the Anicents did not like people travel in time with wormholes because of the danger they could cause and the symbol of RA is not 10,000 years old but more like least then 5,000 years old. These would give the Anicents reason to try to stop Eidelons.
