FORGET the Olympics. The childhood game of rock, paper, scissors has gone global with its own world championships.

Fanatics of the finger fighting sport have burst onto the international stage.
Last year the RPS world championships in Canada attracted 1000 competitors from all corners of the globe.

And for the first time this year there will be qualifying state, territory, then national rounds to pick Australia's most lethal digit disher.
