I'm so excited!!! :bounce: I got a new cell phone -Motorola V551 and the young man who sold me the phone made the 1812 Overture for me!!! :D Is that cool or what???!!!! :banana:

BUT....my wallpaper sucks the big one. :P Can anyone tell me how to put a cool Farscape pic on my phone as a wallpaper??? :eek: I don't mind paying for it if it isn't too expensive. ;)

I just got a new Motorola too. I don't know what version it is though. It's manly looking. I want to put a custom ringtone on it, and the guy at the kiosk said you can upload mp3's to it, but I forgot what kind of thing he said you needed in order to do that :dunno:

I downloaded the 1812 ringtone on my LG phone. :) Just look up Tchaikovsky(sp?) and it'll pop up. I'm trying to find a wallpaper too. Either that or just take a picture of something Scaperific and set it as my wallpaper (Camera Phone). Congrats!!

I have a bunch of ringtones on my Moto V551. Including the 1st season Farscape theme, which I converted using this site (http://mobile17.smashsworld.com/). It really works, both for ringtones and wallpaper. And it really is free, aside from the cost to send the data to your phone.

I've also been able to upload a bunch of MIDI ringtones to the phone using my PowerBook and Bluetooth. Just do a Google search on "midi" and "movie themes" or "tv themes" or some specific song. No Farscape MIDI, sadly. But I found a bunch of really wonderful themes.

I have a Motorola as well and mine came with a ton of different ring tones, 1812 was one of them. :D

I have a motorola T190 a real OLD version, and the only way I can get ringtones onto it, is if I compose it myself, with all the notes and everything!

Hmmm. My new cell phone doesn't have 1812...but I'm looking for it! LOL!

Right now it plays "Who's Your Daddy" (Toby Keith) when my hubby calls me. When I call him it plays "Why does everybody want to Kick my ass?" (Big & Rich)

My phone doesn't have it and I downloaded one from some website and it worked for three days. Now it won't play it. Bastards.

So I'm still on the look for one. Stupid Cingular and their anti-1812 Overture-selves. :rolleyes:
