So what's on your desktop?

Short and sweet.... I got bored with my old desktop and decided it was time to personalize my computer.. I have all the sounds and stuff I wanted, but not the look... until now.. I've spent the last 2 nights putting this desktop together.. I made it piece by piece until I got the look I wanted.. tell me whatcha think about it and share your own!!!

If you don't know how to take a screenshot of your desktop, just hit Control + PrintScreen/SysRq .... then take it into Paint (or whatever other graphics program you use) and reduce the size so it's not so huge...

Here it is cut down to 75%. Kinda messy. It get's that way from time to time. If you pay attention you will notice game icons, various programs, and pictures and word documents which I either believe are important enough to stare at all day, or are unimportant enough to not warrent filing. Oh and the background image I got from the Ignore This Thread thread.

We lost one 3 years ago and I lost my Jossy a little over a year ago

Mine is a picture of the park I go to sometimes. I put it up in the winter becasue I was tired of looking at snow.

I tried to upload the image, but of course it is too big. :rolleyes: So typically me. :lol

NY... if you have Paint, just open the picture up in there... go to Image > Stretch/Skew ... In the top 2 boxes, type in 50 in both boxes... hit OK... then File > Save As > (whatever you want to call it) > Okay .. then you should be able to upload it here with no problems...

I was at the annual California Strawberry Festival this past weekend, and both guys had vending booths displaying and selling their works. I ended up buying a non-framed Santa Fe pic by Gertz (to go with my framed Georges Meis photo of Santorini).

I don't know who it is by. The pic was already downloaded as one of the desktop choices in my computer when I bought it. I have changed my desktop image several times, but always come back to this one. Is the first pic you posted of Gertz? I really like that one as well.
The one of the blue table and chairs on a white cliff overlooking the sea is the Georges Meis photo (in Santorini) that I have framed and matted in my dining room. The other one, which is a long passage way with blue doors is the Bob Gertz photo (Santa Fe) that I bought on Saturday (I need to get it matted and framed). on my Mac I have it set so every time I start up there is a new desktop Image and the wallpaper folder has 184 Images.
some of them are my work, - others are the type of photography that I don't think the mods would appreciate me posting .... (something along the lines - mister the cat - said) :rolleyes:

i got flyakite os the other day. one of my friends showed it to me...so now my PC running windows xp looks like a mac. :) it streamlined all of my icons and made them all pretty. plus it changes the look of all your windows screens.

if you like it, you can just search for flyakite os on google. but don't get it from the official website cause those links don't work.
