Seriously ( if this applies to this election - somewhat like the current wonderful situation in Canadian politics :eek: but I digress...) would it help to get all snippy and email ? whoever?
edited to add - I just emailed Michael Hinman to complain - if anyone wishes to do that here is the email michael@syfyportal.com (other contacts can be found at the site)

I sent my letter of concern about the conflict of interest that the BSG Banners on each voting page represented a couple of days ago and I was very pleased to see this morning that they had been removed. :D
It probably shouldn't have happened in the first place but I am really pleased at how (relatively) promptly they responded.
And don't forget to vote today! I did. :D

Just one question about the voting - I got a message that I had reached my maximum votes for the day? Is this what pops up when you've voted in all categories? Or are there more categories but it will only let you vote for a set amount?

Besides winning for Best Series, "SG-1" also won for Michael Shanks as BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR/Television, BEST SPECIAL GUEST/Television (for Claudia Black in "Prometheus Unbound," and BEST EPISODE/Television for "Prometheus Unbound."
Black was very popular in the awards this year. Not only did she win Best Special Guest, but she also won BEST ACTRESS/Television for her role in "Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars." Her co-star in that movie, who moves over to "Stargate SG-1" this season, is Ben Browder, who won his third SyFy Genre Award in the BEST ACTOR/Television category.

Though I am a little disappointed that Galactica didn't win a single category. I was really pulling for them for Supporting Actor.
And, IMHO, "Not Fade Away" was levels above "Prometheus Unbound".
