This afternoon I upgrade from a 25-inch Phillips Magnavox CRT TV to a 60-inch Widescreen Sony Grand Wega High Definition TV. :) {yay me}

So the question is do I watch PKW first or do I start with season 4, and if so which ep?

The stand for the TV is going to take another week or two, but I think I can manage.

silly question......why not start at the beginning, get some take out and go for the full four series and a PKW marathon.

Yeah, but Season 4 is the only one in widescreen. I can't waste screen this early on.

Start with Felecia's Journey, then Pollyanna, and finish up with Mary Poppins.

i think you need to have a marathon. just you and the tv. and dvds. and possibly popcorn.

you may want to put up a glass screen in front of the tv though, cause throwing all that popcorn might make the tv sticky.

I'm so jealous because I want a big screen TV sooooooo bad but I can't afford one. I say that you should start with S4 and then watch PKW. By the way, do you have a kick a$$ sound system to go along with the TV?? There is nothing worse than ruining an awesome TV with a bad sound system.

That's the exact plotline of the porno-screenplay I'm writing!!! Get out of my head!!!

I didn't have a lot of money to spend after the TV. I bought a Panasonic SC-HT05 for about $200. It was a CNET editor's pick. The speakers on the TV are pretty damn good - I may just leave them on and use the Panasonic for surround sound and center focus. I spent more on cables for the TV than I did for the sound system, but it's still pretty good.

You can't scrub out your mind's eye. Besides, I never even mentioned my take on Angela Landsbury's Bedknobs and Broomsticks... it's quite tasteful, demure, exotic, naughty... oh yeah.
