well...it depends on how many women he spent time with. but musically, he is as responsible as hendrix, clapton and dylan are, influence-wise.

i think luther vandross was one of those huggable bear types. not huggy bear, huggable. he made great music and it was full of soul and energy.

:cry2: He will be greatly missed! He seemed to be such a nice, caring person and his sexy voice just sounded like silk. He never seemed to recover from his stroke and that's a shame to those who cared about him and his musical gift. I'm just glad that we are able to listen to the great albums/cds he put out and hear him over and over. RIP, Luther! :(
