Well, let's see it! What does your desktop look like? I know some of us probably have Roden TV on but that certainly can't be your wallpaper.

if you're wondering why it looks like a mac...i'm running kite os, this awesome mac emulator. everything looks like a mac, down to sounds and clicks. i just don't have the puck shaped mouse.

I have 2 computers - a mac and a PC...
On my PC is a pic of the FarScape-1 module orbiting Earth...

On my mac it's Talyn orbiting some unknown planet
(It's a scan of a pic I got at OzScape from Marco Nero - who works for Animal logic)

Just a screencap of Ahkna on mine at the moment. I did have another Marco Nero pic there - though mine was of a Scarran dreadnaught.

Ajarscape, I'm seconding AerynSG's call for you to share your Talyn wallpaper if you could - my preferred res being 1024x768 or 1280x1024. AerynSG - that Pilot one's very good, though I don't think I'd end up using it myself. I just like Scarran pics too much :D . Don't suppose anyone has a good one of Cargn (the Scarran ambassador from LATP) do they? Just one of him on his own, if such a thing exists. If you do, please PM me and I'll send you an address to email it to.

Alas, I've not really had the time to customize my shiny new compooter, what with watching my Farscape and new-found love Firefly on it. But I'll get to it eventually. I'm on the last episode of Firefly, then I just have the FS Convention DVD that just came in the mail. And then I'll customize! Unless I get Indecision 2004 for my birthday....

I use StyleXP .... I've got the cube wallpaper, but a different theme set and different sound setup and yet another different icon set... I love StyleXP because you can pick and choose whatever you want to completely make your system YOUR system.. and it's easyyyyyyy!!!!

Well... I used StyleXP for the actual theme set.. then I combined two different icon sets to get the gelled look of the icons... That's just one part of the set I'm using... I didn't like the desktop that came with it, so I ditched it and picked a different desktop (see a few posts above for screen cap of that).. To be honest, most of what I did was point and click on what I like, download a few things and then play with the stuff til I got the look I was going for..

That's really funny, but my first thought was that I was looking at a PC screen. Until I saw the Dock. Mac users almost always have icons on the right. Great look, though.
I always had a customized desktop. Until it started to interfere with Photoshop.

It's funny that this thread came up right now. I've been trying to find a wallpaper I was using back around when the miniseries was about to air. I remember the site had a set of them all with the same look. The one I was looking for was a scarran wallpaper where the background was red and it had Emporer Stalik and some other stuff I can't remember? It was artsy and stylized - it looked like everything had been "vectorized" (like a flash drawing). Happen to ring any bells?

Here's my other background. This is from my vacation this past September. My husband and I went on a cruise around Hawaii and beyond. This particular picture is beyond...it's from the Republic of Kiribati on Fanning Island. It's about 100 miles south west of Hawaii. It's so gorgeous!
