The next time I take a vacation I want it to be exotic, in a place totally unlike where I live. It would be inexpensive, but there are more modern amenities available in Ulaanbataar than in most places in Central Asia. The steppe is supposed to be amazingly beautiful, and Mongolians are famed for their hospitality. I've always wanted to see the ruins of Karakhorum, as well as the Taklamakan and the Gobi. Besides, who wouldn't want to try fermented mare's milk.

Thank you Craistine & Freckle. Craistine, I love Tripping the Rift and am excited to see they have new episodes out. Of course I can't see any of them since AFN does not carry that show. Oh well, another thing to look forward to when I get home :)
