Hi All,
We rode out Wilma in a trailer down here in Boynton Beach.
OK, not the smartest thing to do. But hey, ya gotta play the hand your dealt.
Lost a bedroom outer wall when a tree crashed thru it. We also need to put up a new roof. Most of the trees are gone. At least in BB. You take your life in your hands driving. There are no traffic lights anywhere. We got off lucky. A lot of homes we damaged way worse than ours. Most of the people here seem to be taking it all in stride. We all remember Katrina. The cool weather helps, also. Our power just came on a few hours ago. That's the best thing that has happened in a week. Except for scoring that rare cup of coffee.
Now for that hot shower... :D

Thx Guys,
The best thing about this storm is that there seems to be very few deaths and not many people hurt. Compared to others. Here's a pix that I took during the first half. The second half was much worse,BTW.
The smaller pic is a branch that was speared thru a nearby house.

OMG... I dont think I could have done that. My mom was crazy enough to pull into FL on Saturday night and said she would ride it out. She got bad winds but that was all. Shes up in Daytona though. Last year her place fared well but her neighbor's place was demolished.
