Found dead in his hotel room. Comes on the bring of his second WWE title run. Hopefully it was natural causes. He is finally free of his demons.

RIP Eddie.

He was a young athlete... I don't see how this could happen. RIP, man

This is so sad. Eddie had so much presence in the ring. He was always a fan favorite, inspite of whatever bad storyline he was given. He will be truely missed. :cry2:

Great tributes tonight. It was something to see Benoit break down like he did.

He was the only wrestler I liked since I got into UFC.

Wasn't he going to do some MMA later on?

It was wonderful to see all the tributes. I laughed at Big Show doing Eddie's in ring dance. I think John Cena's tribute was very fitting. For those who didn't see it, John took off the Eddie shirt he was wearing and laid it on the mat withGuerrero's name up. He then laid his Championship on the shirt and left the ring.

HHH and Benoit at the end was cool as hell. All the tributes rocked!

Oh, and I guess thanks to Rita Cosby for actually having a special on Eddie the other night.

As someone in the (or was in) the professional wrestling industry, I can honestly tell you that this is a huge loss. I never met Eddie Guerrero, but have wrestled with many of his friends and former colleagues that wrestled in Texas or toured the state in the last few years. No one ever had a bad thing to say to about him. His time in Japan as Black Tiger, his runs in ECW and WCW, and his latest success in WWF/E will be remembered with the highest admiration from millions of life long Guerrero fans.

He will now be enshrined with the other fallen performers like Andre the Giant, Lou Thesz, Wahoo McDaniel, Curt Hennig, The Von Erichs, Art Barr, Owen Hart, Dino Bravo, Road Warrior Hawk, Big John Studd, The Junkyard Dog, Gentleman Chris Adams, The Crusher, The Sheik, Bobo Brazil, Chris Candido, Lord Alfred Hayes,...

It seems like some of the wrestling families get hit hard: The Hearts, The Von Erichs (their destruction is stuff of legend in Texas)

Last I heard, Cowboy Bob was in bad shape, so the Ortons may be in for a tragedy. The Hardys were in a down period as well.

As an ECW fan, I'm still amazed that two of the most self-destructive (both in the ring and out) wrestlers of all time, Raven and Sabu, are still with us.
