Yesterday, I caught my first Season 2 episode on TV yesterday. It was Part 3 in the "Princess" trilogy--don't worry, I'm somewhat aware of what transpired in the first two parts, so I wasn't completely lost.
But what I really loved about that episode was hearing Moya speak!

Finally, I've seen "The Way We Weren't"!
I've been awaiting this episode for the past two and a half months, and I loved it every bit as I thought I would!
A very solid Pilot/Aeryn episode.
I very nearily shed a tear when those PK Nazis shot up poor Miss Pilot. :cry2:
And Pilot... Frell... He's usually so calm and polite and inoffensive. But when he's angry, he...is...ANGRY! :scare: :scare: I sure wouldn't want to be around when he's mad. :scare:
I really love the last scene between Pilot and Aeryn when Pilot confides that because of his desire to see the stars led to a decision that sealed Miss Pilot's fate.
I love how we got to see Pilot's homeworld, though. The first that we get to see of main characters'--besides John's, of course.
EXCELLENT EPISODE!!!

Ditto. I have wished so many times to be able to see it again for the first time. Reading your posts comes pretty close to that. Keep it up -- and thanks!

I just watched "Out of Their Minds" through "Look at the Princess".
I REALLY loved "Minds"! The funniest episode since "Crackers", my review of which can be found in the thread dedicated to that episode.
Everyone--Browder, Black, Simcoe, Edgley, Hardy, and Tupu--did an EXCELLENT job portraying whoever was in each of their bodies. Complete with Anthony doing Chiana's twitching.
And what other sci-fi show would do something like this--have characters exchange bodies--and then have one of them need to take care of a bodily function? Or another doing a little exploring? Yet another example of how FarScape stands proud and apart.
And, of course, many great, well-placed lines:
"Frell that, I can't do it Pilot. I try but I can't do it."
"Well you have to, I don't want to stay like this, you pathetic Luxan."
"Crichton, Rygel, who, whoever you are, I'll rip your head off if you don't shut up."
--D'Argo/Pilot & Rygel/John
"You are mentally damaged?"
"No, I'm a guy. Guy. Guys dream about this sort of thing."
"I'll tell you one thing, Crichton. If I find you've been dreaming anything else in my body, and I'll break your legs--even if the ARE mind."
--Aeryn/Rygel & John/Aeryn
Of course, those are just samples.
Though, with all the laughs, there was one moment where I caught myself shedding a tear--when Pilot/Chiana tells D'Argo/Pilot that he's got no memories of friendship or love.
"My Three Crichtons" was good, too. A little more serious, but a good story about Humanity.
"Look at the Princess" was another great one (or should I say three?). I especially loved Moya's side of the story. Of course, I'd love any moment where my precious Leviathan gets a chance to be in the spotlight. :)

I finished Season 2!!!!
The pace of this season was a lot similar to the first, I noticed. It starts out with a few excellent and fast-paced episodes, slows down every once in a while with some okay episodes, and then speeds up to a full run in the last four episodes.
I loved "Liars, Guns, and Money". It was great seeing some the faces of first season characters who seemed, at the time, to be no more than 1-timers--the "Tavloids", Bloodtrackers, Sheyangs, those Flax pirates. Also and excellent conclusion to Durka. I especially loved Rygel returning to Moya with Durka's head and then sticking it on his septor. :rollin: Great touch there! And how that third part was intense!
"Die Me, Dichotomy"--great conclusion to Season 2! Nearly as touching as "Family Ties" was and just as tear-provoking. Ben was amazing with the dual personalities his character was dealing with. And when Aeryn fell into the frozen lake... whoa...
Can't wait til Season 3.

I loved the ep where moya speaks she should of done that more often...hmm
i wonder the maker of moya sounded welsh....moya is a gaelic name....often spelled maire. What is it with gealic references..eh?
I thought thet Ben looked really peculiar as scorpious..he had to study Wayne Pygram so he could pull it of.Oh that mask...

I am glad she did it only once, it makes this moment so special.
Season 2 has some very great episodes, but for me its definatly season 3, although its the sadest.
