Over the last few years I’ve been trying to turn as many folks on to Farscape as I possibly can. To date I’ve turned 10 people (including my Dad) into Scapers – which let me tell you was like pulling teeth. Most don’t watch TV regularly and just getting them to sit still long enough to get hooked into the story was a chore in itself. Well, I’ve been trying to turn a few more friends on to the show by holding “FARSCAPE FRIDAYS.” Every Friday we watch 2 episodes (except when it’s a three-parter). Right now we’re nearing the end of season 1.
Last night (Tuesday night) the regulars for Friday came by. Usually during the week we just watch movies or play video games. But last night they specifically requested Farscape. They're really digging the show and are anxious to see what happens next. I was jumping for joy inside. This is huge for me – it took me three long years to try and convince one of them to give the show a chance and now they want to watch it all the time. I love it! And now, since we’re ahead of the viewing schedule, this Friday we’ll be watching “Nerve” and “The Hidden Memory” – I can't wait!
