I have always wondered what year it was in the Farscape verse or if they had years like on earth like its 2006 now but I wondered what year it was there. Im trying to be as clear as I can with my question I thought I share.

Welcome to the community Jasal :hi:
I don't have a clear answer to your question but I think the Premier episode was present day. In other words....not in the future.
Anyone out there know for sure?

If I understand your question right. Time is parallel, in fact, they are in the same galaxy. As far as I can recall, there was never any indication that there is time discontinuity between earth and where this galactic civilization exist in the galaxy. That's not to say that time discontinuity via wormholes was not explored, but that little bit of info came after Einstein.

I seem to remember something about that on the commentary for Premiere. The PTB wanted to make it clear that Crichton travelled in 'space' not 'time'. I haven't listened to my Premiere Commentary in a long while, but Farscape World has a transcript here: Premiere DVD Commentary (http://www.farscapeworld.com/transcripts/10101.php)

Hope you find it.

Man, it's been a while since I've come here.

Quick answer - imagine it set in the present day. I imagine season 1 as 1999 (I think that's when it was filmed), and then there's practically no need for it until Terra Firma, where Jack mentions September 11th (2001) so obviously it's after that.

Also, remember the season four intro sequence where John says "three years ago I got shot through a wormhole" (or is it four). In any case, that's a good reference for how much time has passed, and what year it should be. Gives you a rough idea really.

Due to September 11th (2001) being a consistent date, we can say that -

Premiere was somewhere between 1997 at the earliest and Sept 10th 2001.

Terra Firma (remember, it was Christmas) was somewhere between December 2001 and December 2005

These figures are taking into account a maximum of four years between the two episodes.

I have one question. In wich episode exactly does John know that he has this Chip in his head?

He starts to get concerned around "Taking the Stone" but he doesn't have a clue what is happening.

In "Won't Get Fooled Again" the Scorpy Clone appears to John to help him out but he then erases John's memory of the event... so that doesn't count.

In the "Look at the Princess" trilogy John hears Scorpy in his head, but he starts to see him - and even play chess with him - in "Beware of Dog". John doesn't know the specifics about the chip until "Liars, Guns and Money" when Scorpy tells him, but he definitely knows that something 'extra' was done to him by BoD.
