I've seen some stuff i like at cafepress.com, but was wondering what good it would be if i order frm the uk? things like the cash amount, I don't know if i have to pay tax, and how it converts to pounds sterling?
I was also wondering if you guys have had experience with cafepress and whether it was any good, and worth buying from the site.
Thanx for any info:hugz:

I brought a t shirt from cafe press, paid for it with a credit card, it was delivered within a week. I thought that pretty good service.
As far as I can see with most of the stuff I brought from the US, as long as the ammounts are small enough, there is no import taxes as they are classed as gifts. I could be wrong, but I have never paid additional import taxes. As for the currnecy conversion, they charge me the ammount of the conversion on the day the card transaction goes through, (pretty much the day I made the purchase) The bank then charges a nominal fee (usually about £1.50) for their troubles. So if you are going to order a few things its best to order them all on one transaction.
