My campus seems like a freakin' glorified high school. My mother became very ill. So I had to back out of plans with my friends to make a road trip. I was the driver. I told them sorry but I can't...blood is thicker than water. They refused to take thier own cars, they didn't end up going. So for the past month they have been making my life a living hezmana turning ALL of my friends against me. The rumours that they spread about me when I've been working and going to class..thats it. (This coming from my now obviously troublemaking exboyfriend who broke up with me...for this. Him and two other girls)
1) I was going to wreck thier cars and seek revenge on them by bringing my non-college friends to kill/maim them
2) I was getting put away in a psych ward someplace in Camden NJ called St. Catherines..doesn't exist.
3) I was a whore and slept with two guys within three days.
4) I spread that my exboyfriend fractured my arm to try and sway people back onto my side. When I CLEARLY explained it was from an indoor soccer game on campus. Hell my ex even saw me, I asked for his help and he did. ..
I hate the people today. I really do. My off-campus friends really are like me..hate problems, and have fun. Things like this is what turns me into a b*tch, because being nice always gets me with crap like this

bloody hell!,
maybe you should explain to your 'freinds' your dissapointment they are so easliy swayed by rumours and lies and, that whilst your mother is sick, you find there continuous spreading of malicious gossip at best offensive and at worst childish and insensitive...or you could just tell them to fuck off.

Blow 'em off. If they're acting like that, they weren't your friends to begin with.

Sounds like they just wanted to use you as their personal chauffeur. Tell them to screw off and then just avoid them.

Much thanks for the uplift Scapers. I needed it. This just got unleashed because I was browsing another forum and sharing stories came up. This was fairly recent. I'm glad (when I actually DO post) that you guys are here :jester: !!! Yeah, I called one up this afternoon and gave him the reaming of a lifetime. ...Now I get a message he wants to go back out with me.

You can make a complaint against them to Student Affairs and/or the Dean. What they are doing is called slander, character assassination and creating a hostile living and working environment. You have the right to go to school without having this kind of boundary transgression being perpetrated against you.
Thing is, you have substantiation for all the things you are saying, and they have none for theirs.
Contact the school newspaper, and give an article/interview, with your substantiation. Bring the situation into the light. Cockroaches hate the light, have you noticed how they always run when you flip the switch?

Ditto to that. I don't think the term "friend" could possibly apply to any of these jerks you described.

Excellent!! Human forgiveness is hard enough... but a lesson learned (your trust was broken) means you don't make yourself a doormat!
THAT'S what I would "expect" from a Hockey Goalie
:D
disappointing showing our guys gave at the Olympics, did you watch?

They arent your true friends if they did that to you. Your true friends would have made an offer to help you care for your mom and then offer to reschedule.
 So now you know where to come to see your true friends. :D

I know! But Nitty did a great job with Finland. :D Yes. I added in the slander part as a threat to back off. So far there has not been any thing I've heard. But then again this is spring break.

Let me get ahold of them they won't see tommorow. I'm a teacher in West Philadelphia, currently enjoying my lunch break, they will not get past this iron wall.

 I had to put up with that kind of thing in junior high, but luckily by high school they had grown up some. Maybe these people deserve to go back to the sixth grade until they learn how to be adults. If it were me, I would just drop them and have nothing more to do with them. You don't need friends like that.

Thankyou all for your support and words of wisdom. Your avatar made me laugh my eema of Clarsax, everytime I see it. xD!!!!
Yup. I am actually leaving this campus next semester to go to PSU Berks. So huzzah for me! Now I made it my life goal for me and my mom to get to ScaperCon and any other conventions this summer. :)

I've had to deal with lame people like that before. Whenever they'd start to get my goat I'd wait till they were in the distance, squint at them from between my fingers and..."Ahahahaha! I CRUSH your head, you ingrate!" Verrrry therapeutic.
