As for the Farscape anime, it appears that the next step in the franchise will be a theatrical feature, and the anime series is currently a low-priority project.

I'm glad an anime FarScape series is low-priority. The idea doesn't sit well with me...

Hi Kriath

I can see it now, "The Arena Spectacular, Farscape: The Musical, On Ice"........

How long would it take to give the entire cast ice skating lessons? I am assuming that only the Aussie castmembers would need lessons, all Americans can ice skate as they actually live in areas where outdoor skating is possible.

The only place you can ice skate in Texas is at a mall.

Well, in my opinion, Farscape anime would and seems a little odd. I mean, really, is this the NEXT level or would we actually going backwards?

Also, a handful or a good percent of the United States does not recieve snow or ice. I know I have only iced skated around 3 times and only because of the rink that comes once a year in the arena at Christmas time. Which is man made and indoors.

If the anime were handled by someone like Otomo Katsuhiro, Mamoru Oshii, Shinichiro Watanabe, or Hayao Miyazaki then it would be excellent. Worthy of an Oscar. And then some. Except for maybe Watanabe (he did Cowboy Bebop, which wouldn't be too far removed from Farscape), this will never happen. If it did, then I think my faith in mankind would be renewed.
