Hey everyone, I'm just looking to see how many Scapers who watch this board are from St. Louis, Missouri.

I live about an hour out of the city and would love to have a rally in St. Louis (I would attend the one in Chicago, but since I attend college full time, I can't spare the time away from school). I have some ideas but I need some help from other people, since I haven't done anything like this before.

The local NBC station has this segment called "Window on St. Louis" where the anchors do the news in front of a big window looking out on a crowd. More info can be found here:

http://www.ksdk.com/window_stl/window_stl.asp

Here's a blurb from the page:

Our "Window on St. Louis" is designed primarily for non-profit organizations and schools to help get their message out to the public and for viewers who would like to share good news, such as birthdays and anniversaries.

Even though the Save Farscape campaign isn't offically non-profit this might be something to look into. Any thoughts?

Hi Maggie, Ava, and Gil_Estel,
This is Ann aka ScaperCat237. I would love to set something up for a rally outside the news station. The World Rally is October 5th, I'm sure you already know just a reminder. I think that is when we should make our move on the television stations. If I can get my color printer working again I can print up more flyers for coffee houses, maybe on campus, and anywhere else.

I don't know what other people's schedules are like but I am available quite a bit of time right now. Afternoons, evenings, weekends anything?

Email me at ScaperCat237@msn.com

I'd love to join you guys, but I work every Saturday. If there's another way I can help, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Saturdays are definitely the best (I'm a hs teacher). I probably won't be free until maybe the 5th which is the global rally. Unfortunately being 1.5 hrs away I can't organize anything but I'll try and make it to something if anyone wants to put it together.

ScaperCat, I emailed you last week and I haven't heard anything from you yet. Is there anything planned for this weekend yet?

Hi guys. On the hill here... I work this Saturday as well, but I'd love to see some of us in front of that window on the news! :) (couldn't get the other smilies to paste over)

I wear my "Save Farscape" t-shirts everywhere and I'm working on a banner to put in the back window of my wagon (since it has such a large back window!

Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help!

Sorry Maggie,
I have not been feeling well this last week. So I have not gotten much done other than some letters out. I don't think that we have anything going on this Saturday so far. I know that some of the other cities you need a permit to demonstrate but I don't know about St. Louis. I'm still not feeling to hot. Sorry that I did't repond to your email. I'm going back to bed. Talk to you and everyone later.

[B][COLOR=red]Help Needed December 21!!!!!

Looking for St. Louis area Scapers who are interested in spending part or all of December 21st handing out Farscape flyers and collecting money for Make A Wish Foundation. This is the first weekend that The Two Towers will be open so there will be hundreds of people who are intersted in SciFi/Fantasy. But at this point I do not have anyone who can help. I will do all the contacting of organizations for permission and also do the flyers and banner for the table.

But I can't do this alone. Please let me know if you are interested in helping, even for a couple of hours.

Thanks,
Ann-Marie
