Ok, so everyone knows Taylor Hicks won American Idol. yippidee doo frelling da. The real money shot of the whole night was David "The Hoff" Hasselhoff in tears when they zoomed in on him after they announced that Hicks won. That was the single greatest tv moment ever recorded.

I like Taylor. I didn't watch most of the season, but I did see the start. He's who I would have picked. :)

The "Soul Patrol" will always be, to me, the MN Twins outfield combination of Shannon Stewart, Torii Hunter, and Jacque Jones. They dubbed themselves that several years ago so have prior claim.

That being said, I'm very glad Taylor won.
