When I used to let my cat sleep on the bed,she liked to always lay on the covers over my feet.But before she'd lay down,she would knead the area for a couple of minutes.It was like she was giving me a foot massage.
It actually felt kinda nice...

When my cat does that, she pokes me with her claws, so it's not always such a pleasant sensation.

Use a pair of nail clippers and snip the ends off your kitty's nails.... about 1/8" is enough. Be careful though not to cut too much as there is a vein running through the claw - if you cut that your Kitty will not be a happy camper at all.

Unless you're talking about Kitty with the 1-900 number who does massage :rolleyes:

I'd love to clip her claws but I got her as an adult from the shelter and she's never allowed me to even hold her paw let alone use a clipper. She was very skittish for a long time. I don't know if she was mistreated by humans or bullied by other cats but I decided not to push the issue. I've always done it with my cats that I had as kittens because I could get them used to it. But not with Sweetie. She'll lie on me and pet me (yes, she pets me!) and she'll let me pet her all I want, but she won't let me hold her paw.

I so wondered what's wrong with you. My brain is now slow too.It's 5.30am, saturday, and I will soon start driving and the destination is quite far...
For cat massaging, Svarttis is kneeding a blanket now.

My cat likes to do that. He kneads everything for about five minutes before he lays on it. I've never seen him do it to anything alive though.
