I must let her get used to this house first. There's allready one pic, but it ain't good. She now sleeps in a corner, but uses the cat toilet at the otherside of my room.Haven't been eating anything yet.

. . .Haven't been eating anything yet.Hope the cat isn't more interested in the hamsters. One of my co-workers once adopted a stray cat into her place. After moving in, the cat still preferred the taste of rodents over that of cat-food, for awhile anyway. She said one night she heard a rodent shrieking and bones crunching as the cat toyed-with and ate its meal.

Ugh what a horrible sound. Just to be sure, I'd keep all rodents far, far away from the cat.

Visited family this weekend (my sister owns a pet grooming shop in Salisbury). My niece brought home the class ginue pig and set it's cage next to the family ginue pig's (my sister's house is a zoo of cats, dogs, etc). One of the cats decided to welcome the guest by sitting on top of the cage and staring down into it all evening ;) That poor piggy probably didn't come out of his little house all weekend thanks to that ;)

When my new cat sits in a corner and looks very frightened, I can only think of a Gremlin...The eyes and ears so looks like it.

I was just for a moment to few bars and when I came home I found my new cat behind my TV. But as I entered my room, the cat flew to her favourite corner. NO harm done...I guess she's a TV freak...

Poor kitty. She must be very frightened when you are gone. Does she allow you to pet her? Does she purr when you pet her? Sounds like she could use some Milaya love. ;)

Milaya

She's frightened when she sees me. But if I take her into my lap she stays there. I don't know what to call it when I touch her.Shiver? Something I never sensed a cat do before...Had my first cat year 1982.She lived over 16 years.

Milaya

Atleast she now allows me to pet her and she's purring. But there's something wrong with her back. She tries to bite me if I touch her there. And she was even baking with her paws on me.She has now found a new place.Part in my old bad, which I use as a storage, is also been a cat bed before and now she's up there...

She may have an injured back! :eek2: You should bring her to a Vet right away!

Milaya

Must wait ubtil monday, no vets here during the weekend. But my bro hold her in his lap and there was no problem.

Zimtsternchen

Maybe she just does not like to be touched there, because somebody once hurt her or tried to pick her up that way.

:D You have a cat named Mr. Garibaldi?

I am almost afraid to ask how he came about that name...does he watch Daffy Duck a lot?

My mom's cat loves to have it's lower back at the tail scratched.

Of course, he's also testy... once he's done with you petting him, he'll hiss at you

Cute kitty, Milaya :)
