Farscape DVD Boxes, UK vs AU

Heya,

I recently found that the store I got my Farscape DVD's from started carrying the AU-import DVD boxes. Previously I've been buying the UK-imports but since the price of one AU-import box is 1/3 of one UK-import box I was wondering what the difference is. I'm talking about the complete season boxes.

The UK-import box is 10 discs while the AU-import one is only 6 discs so I'm thinking either they don't have as much extra material or the episodes must be encoded in lower quality or something.

If there is no big difference I'll go for the AU-imports since it's _a lot_ cheaper then the UK-imports. I could get 3 seasons of the AU-import for less money then 1 season of the UK-import..

The Australian R4 box sets don't have ANY commentaries, just a lame trivia quiz and some photos.
For several years the price of the box sets here was $140 a season. About two years ago now there was a sudden price drop, down to $40 a season, so I whipped down to the shops, and bought all four seasons in one go.
As much as I like Farscape, spending $560 to watch 4 seasons was too pricy for me, $160 is much nicer on the old hip pocket!!!

Ah, I could live without the commentaries (I never listen to them) and I agree, Farscape is great, but the price tag is a bit juicy when you're still at uni.

The AU box sets, except season 1, have some audio commentaries, but generally have few, if any, 'video extras' (cast/crew interviews, character profiles, deleted scenes, etc.).
