I have problems sleeping too, not so much because of the heat but because of the light. Sun goes down around midnight and comes up again a few hours later.

When I build by own house the bedroom is going to be right in the center. No windows and no exterior walls. Buffered by ICF walls and floors. Maybe then I'll finally be able to get a good night's sleep. Sadly that day won't be soon enough to save me from the eye bags.
